Horoscopes July 12 - July 18 ARIES: March 21 - April 20: The next time you decide to give people the benefit of the doubt, you might be surprised. If they've let you down in the past, they may have finally learned their lesson. In this situation it could go either way. If anything, you could use a big dose of discernment and enough sense to preserve yourself. There's no rush. You can wait this out. And it might be better to do so because others seem to be in too much of a rush, and this raises doubts about their motives. Give them enough rope to hang themselves, and give yourself plenty of time to see what they do with it. TAURUS: April 21 - May 20: The wind is in your sails and life is rolling along the way you want it to. With everything you've got going for you, the thought that anything could screw it up is the furthest thing from your mind. Before you start thinking that this is going to make the rest of your world light up and take off like a rocket, there are a few things you need to reckon with. Anything that is not firmly rooted in the truth will undermine you, and any unfinished business with others who have any reason to sabotage your efforts will reel up and bite you on the face if you're out of integrity. GEMINI: May 21 - June 20: This will work out just fine if you can arrest the tendency to keep adding more options to an ever increasing list of choices. If its fear that drives you to buttress your security trips with every possible way out, you're forgetting one, very important thing; any choice that is made from fear is doomed to failure. If you don't know this, your best laid plans could turn into a house of cards in a wind storm. Trust is your biggest issue. You drive yourself nuts over-doing. It would be so much easier if you trusted life enough to know that it works better when you keep it simple. CANCER: June 21 - July 20: The need to expand beyond every previous limit is bringing up a lot of stuff. If you wonder why you aren't as sure about everything as you used to be, it's because you're crossing the line that separates you from your dreams. All of your relationships are calling you to look at who you need to be in order to be yourself. The ones that have loaned you the bulk of your identity, need to be revamped, enough to allow you to live your own life. That could mean anything. If the universe calls you to head out for parts unknown don't let your apron strings keep you at home. LEO: July 21 - August 20: The way things are going, they're either being inflated by a heart full of hope or they're riding for a fall. You go back and forth between believing in yourself and feeling like you've never had any reason to. Puffing things up with false illusions - about yourself, or anything else - isn't going to help you get to the bottom of what needs to be done. All of this would improve, pan out, and/or heal quicker if you could bring a smidgen of realism to the table - enough to show you where you stand relative to your dreams and your ability to reach out and grasp them. VIRGO: August 21 - September 20: The work situation is teaching you a lot about priorities; in fact, it seems to be your main priority right now. It's all well and good to keep your nose to the grindstone, but don't make the mistake of ignoring the bigger part of you. The power that we give to our outer endeavors is supplied by the things that feed it from within. Don't lose your connection to life. The weight of the plow hardens us. It compresses every ounce of creative self expression. Balance yourself with regular trips to the well, or the ocean, or the medicine wheel and let those energies nourish your life. LIBRA: September 21 - October 20: The next few weeks look like they will take you over one last hurdle. After a long stretch of tests you're just about ready to pop. Pressure restricts and tightens - but it also anneals us in the same way that the full weight of a bed of coal turns diamonds into light. There is light at the end of this tunnel. From here on out, all you have to do is show up and do whatever you're called to do. Don't worry too much about whether or not you've got what it takes to be the one who gets to do this. If it's already walking and talking, chances are it'll carry you the rest of the way. SCORPIO: October 21 - November 20: To be honest it's hard to know what to say to you. Depending on where you're head is at, you're either wondering if you want to keep this up, or thinking that it's time to quit. There's only one way to make a decision like this. You have to do it from your heart. The problem is, when reality sets in, you get super-confused by what you think others expect versus, what would work for you. Right now life seems to be about trying to fit yourself into a situation that has gotten overwhelmed not just by others but by values that no longer loan it any purpose or meaning. SAGITTARIUS: November 21 - December 20: You can handle more than the average person. At this point you've got more than your share of responsibility and are wearing it well. Before too long, the weight of it all will combine with the need to create a little more joy and take you off in a whole new direction. As it stands now, you're not quite ready to take any risks, and many of you haven't even seen the light. This is no time to think small. There are opportunities beginning to sprout up all around you and most of them are far more interesting and rewarding that what you've allowed yourself to do. CAPRICORN: December 21 - January 20: The back draft from other people and their craziness has turned out to be just another one of those things that has to be dealt with. It would be great if they knew how to deal with their stuff but, once again, it's fallen on you. Without offering too much advice, suffice it to say that you don't need to make excuses for anyone and maybe it's their turn to grow up. You have enough to do. Your work situation, along with entanglements and obligations that would sink a ship, should make it obvious to this nutcase that the last thing you need is more of them and their BS. AQUARIUS: January 21 - February 20: Soak up whatever it is that makes you feel good. For some of you work could be the thing that gives you the most joy. For others, it could be two weeks off, or enough time to remember why you want to keep doing this. Life gets us too far away from ourselves. For the first time in a long time you have a chance to reconnect with your own source and wake up feeling good enough to enjoy this. If you're close to 40, I suspect that things are arriving at a major moment of truth; no matter what your age, it's time to limber up for changes that got seeded 7, 8, or 9 years ago. PISCES: February 21 - March 20: You are so good at denying whatever it is that you wish you didn't have to see. I hate to clue you but this is what you're here for. As much as none of us want to hear what we don't want to hear, if the truth hurts, it's the lies that kill us. As the world teeters on the brink of truth, you too are preparing to drop everything that obscures it from view. If you think you can get away with shining this on, go for it - but for your own sake, maybe it's time to redeem yourself from the things that keep you from connecting with the fact that it's time for all of us to clean up our act.
