Cher Lloyd (born 28 July 1993) is an English singer from Malvern, Worcestershire. Cher rose to fame in 2010 when she participated in reality TV series The X Factor, to which she finished in fourth place. Shortly afterwards, Cher was signed by Simon Cowell to Sony Records subsidiary Syco Music, releasing her debut single "Swagger Jagger" in June 2011. Despite receiving negative reviews, the single entered at number-one in the UK chart and number-two in the Irish chart. Her second single "With Ur Love" was released on 31 October, featuring Mike Posner, and reached number-four in the UK, and number-five in Ireland, preceding her debut album Sticks + Stones, which reached number-four in the UK Albums Chart and number-seven in the Irish Albums Chart. Lloyd's three singles have been viewed over 49.7 million times on YouTube.[3]
