so for those who don’t know, federal law classifies testosterone, but not estrogen, as a *controlled substance*. when we were discussing switching me to injection the other day, my provider complained about having to file all the annoying paperwork for the boys’ testosterone just because of that classification, and we were both like, that was so unbelievably *sex discriminatory*. it discriminates against not only trans masc people who wish to get on T, but also *all women*—cis and trans—for all the unequal and damaging social notions about our hormones
