互联网码农，终身学习，stay hungry, stay foolish.
我只顾在世上奔波忙碌；
凡兴起我便抓住它发梢；
不尽兴的我便把它丢掉，
溜走的就让它脱逃。
我一味渴求，一味成就，
又心意难平，如此强劲，雷霆一生；
先是气贯长虹，后智慧大增，谨言慎行。
这尘世我已了如指掌。
这实在太忙碌于现实，太驰骛于外界，
而不遑回到内心，转回自身，
以徜徉自怡于自己原有的精神家园。
My lot might have been that of a slave, a savage, or a peasant;
nor can I reflect without pleasure on the bounty of Nature,
which cast my birth in a free and civilized country,
in an age of science and philosophy,
in a family of honourable rank,
and decently endowed with the gifts of fortune.
But the decline was the natural and inevitable effect of immoderate greatness.
Prosperity ripened the principle of decay;
the causes of destruction multiplied with the extent of conquest;
and as soon as time or accident had removed the artificial supports,
the stupendous fabric yielded to the pressure of its own weight.
The story of its ruin is simple and obvious;
and instead of inquiring why the empire was destroyed,
we should rather be surprised that it had subsisted so long.
