他们牺牲了自己的所有，以便有那么两三个真理得以照亮世界。They sacrificed everything they had, so that two or three verities would light up the world.
为了大胆的疯狂，我们把歌吟唱。To the madness of daring, we chant a song.
束缚她，碾碎她，抛进火堆，把灰烬撒入大海；她会挣脱，她会追求，她会反抗，为人带去自由。Bind her, grind her, burn her with fire, Cast her ashes into the sea; She shall escape, she shall aspire, She shall arise to make men free.
祂将拭去他们脸庞的泪痕，此后便再也没有死亡。He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more.
他们的悲伤化成了灰，散落于无情的大海中。Their sorrow scattered to the heartless sea.
然后她凄凉地笑了，遁入了无边的夜空之中。Then she smiled drearily, and then faded into the boundless darkness.
他们最后想到的，是家，还有他们爱着的人。The last things that they thought of were their homes and their loved ones.
苦难面前，没有英雄。In the face of pain there are no heroes.
最甜蜜的花儿，已凋零成了花梗。The sweetest flower that ever grew is withered to the stalk.
马上的大汗终究跑不过历史的车轮。The Khan riding on the horse back cannot match the wheels of history after all.
终点也是旅途的一部分。Destination is a part of the journey as well.
唯有死亡才是责任的尾声。Only in death does duty end.
我们切不能忘记艺术并非宣传工具，而是为了表现真理。We must never forget that art is not a form of propaganda, it is a form of truth.
世界是一架手风琴，唯有天主能够亲自弹奏，我们只能跟着风箱拉出的音乐翩翩起舞。The world is just a barrel-organ which the Lord God turns Himself. We all have to dance to the tune which is already on the drum.
回首我这一生，总有一种感悟：山穷水尽的局面从不会存在。To the sum total of my life belongs the insight that there is no complete hopelessness.
我们什么都要，而且现在就要！Nous voulons tout et nous le voulons maintenant!
