As a native English speaker and English teacher, I'd like to share something I've noticed in my 7 years in Taiwan.
我常看到"gay" 這個字用在形容不好的事情或不好的人,像 "I hate my English teacher. He's so gay." 這個並不是“gay"的用法,而且這麼說的話會讓人家覺得你會偏見同性戀。
“Gay" 也不應該用在形容很女性的男生,說 “effeminate" 或 “feminine" 比較準,而當然是比較高級的英文。
聽到台灣人講這種又錯又難聽的口語只會讓我們外國人覺得很可惜,有的......外國人可能也會笑你!
