今天写的作文，放上来当存档了。 The word “post-95 generation” has been prevailing for a long time. But few people have the explicit idea about what “post-95 generation” really is. According to the dictionary, “post-95 generation” refers to those who were born between 1995 and 1999. To me, there are two kinds of post-95s——one is praiseworthy by virtue of their creativity and innovation, while another is rebuked due to their indulgence and immaturity. Post-95s are more dynamic and independent. They have the clear and ingenious idea about what they intend to do and know how to strive for it. I once received a simple translation work and was lucky enough to make acquaintance with an interesting boy. Born in 1995, he is fond of painting and photographing and other creative things. He once launched a campaign to take photographs of the Earth and he did make it, and the achievement was appropriated by MOMO, a large social company in China. He also successfully held his personal art exhibition in Guangzhou and Chengdu, with his own efforts to raise money and friend circles to prepare the whole exhibition. In May he was invited to a city annual to share his experience, during which he said “Young people today need to be brave and innovative, and they also should use their grit to pursue their dreams.” Compared to the post-90s who have already stepped into society, the majority of post-95s are students now. They have more opportunities and they are eager to use these chances in a creative and dynamic way. They are bound to be the pioneers of China and the world. Despite the shining points and encouraging stories of post-95s, there are still a group of post-95s who are labelled as rebellious and reckless. Negative news about post-95s spring up one after another. Last month, tens of post-95s were arrested for taking drugs when celebrating a girl’s birthday. The desire for pursuing stimulation took the place of the awareness that taking drugs was illegal. They are not the only example. The post-95s have sneer idea about the striking results they would get if they do not behave properly. To be specific, they lack the awareness of responsibility. What matters to them is the temporary pleasure and satisfaction. I got to know a post-95 boy in Shanghai. Before leaving for the U.S, he and his friends haunted in different night pubs for a whole week. Drowning in beer and wine, enjoying themselves with their parents’ money. While the post-90s have already earned money both for themselves and their families. The post-90s are undertaking the responsibilities for their family and lessen off their parents’ burden. Post-95s are a group of people who are creative and valiant, but also rebellious. Whether it is the former who deserves appraise or the latter who are sometimes reckless, what can’t be denied is that all of the post-95s need to experience more and grow mature and stronger. They are bound to open a new page.
