Sunshine Officer Election Meeting: Thursday, December 11th, 2014

Dear Sunshine TMC Members,

This Thursday December 11th, 2014, Sunshine will have an election meeting to for our 12th term of officers. Together in Sunshine, we’ve achieved a lot during the last 6 months. We have had grown together, we have had many unforgettable moments, and we have had much fun. All these could not have happened without the participation an and contribution from every single member of ours. Therefore, on behalf of the 11th term of officers, I would like to extend our deep and sincere gratitude to all of you! Thank you all! And still, we would like to ask for your continuous support to our club in the future to come, so that not only Sunshine will be shining, but also you will become a shining star as well!

Life is a journey during which we should never stop improving ourselves. To become a Toastmasters member is an excellent way for one to improve himself or herself at different levels, for example, public speaking, giving presentation, socializing, organizing, self-awareness, self-confidence and etc. To become an officer is actually an even better and quicker way, though I have to say more challenging. However, as the old saying goes, life begins at the end of your conform zone. And if you really want to step out of your conform zone and meet up some challenges and become a better person, if not now, then when?

Therefore, dear members, I’d like to call on all of you to join in this election, either running for a certain officer, or at least casting votes for your favorable candidates. Remember, it’s each and every one of you that makes Sunshine as successful as a club, and even more successful in the future! See you this Thursday, be there or be square!
