The Assistant Merchandiser is responsible for assisting the Merchandising team in their daily merchandising activities including sampling, order processing, reporting and production tracking. They work in conjunction with WSI QA to support the US based team and factory needs.
Job Content and Duties:
1. Product Development:
? Follow-up on T&A of sample development. Ensure key dates are met.
? Prepare weekly progress reports to US based team
? Follow-up on program approval samples with factories
? Notify Merchandise Manager of any major issues during development cycle.
2. Vendor and Order processing
? Facilitate On-boarding of new vendors
? Prepare necessary documents for vendor set up
? Order processing
? Assist the merchandising team in sourcing new vendors when necessary.
4. Development Trips
? Arrange necessary documents and samples for US team’s visit
5. Liaise with QA team
? Arrange inspection schedule across factories
