Tony Corballis It's interesting though that sometimes the opposite of these regrets (caution, money-focus and overwork by the younger us) brings about longer-term dividends to the mid-lifers - that they take for granted. Great skills and expertise; decent capital or savings; etc. We often see articles about regrets and 'what-might-have-been' but perhaps we should also take the time to consider this: What was right for us at the time, as intelligent free-willed individuals examining our pathway choices carefully as we went along them, perhaps just was 'right for us' at the time. And even if it wasn't, it certainly provided food for reflection now, so ultimately enriches us either way.
