    文字不错,只是狄兰急如马蹄般的语速消失了

    狄兰短诗三首

    “那曾是说话的色彩”

    那曾是说话的色彩
    染彻我书桌山形难看的一角
    那里翻转操场的学校静静地坐着
    一地黑白相间的少女嬉戏成长;
    我必须制止说话温柔的海啸
    以唤起所有妩媚的溺水者相互厮杀。
    当我和几个男孩在水库公园吹哨
    夜里我们石化了寒冷
    以及躺在叶床尘埃中的杜鹃情侣,
    它们的树影是许多树影的言辞
    是黑暗中穷人的明灯;
    现在我说话就代表我毁灭,
    我驱策每块石头滚动如线轴。

    《Once It Was The Color of Saying》

    Once it was the color of saying
    Soaked my table the uglier side of a hill
    With a capsized field where a school sat still
    And a black and white patch of girls grew playing;
    The gentle seaslides of saying I must undo
    That all the charmingly drawned arise to cockcrow and kill.
    When I wistled with mitching boys through a reservoir park
    Where at night we stoned the cold and cuckoo
    Lovers in the dirt of their leafy beds,
    The shade of their trees was a word of many shades
    And a lamp of lighting for the poor in the darkness;
    Now may saying shall be my undoing,
    And every stone I wind off like a reel.

    “并非出自这一种愤怒”

    并非出自这种愤怒,被拒绝后的低潮
    漫过她耻部,蔫败的花朵
    像野兽一样垂下,去啜饮奇异的洪水
    在被饥渴勒死的内陆
    她是否将收到一肚子的杂草
    承受那些根须之手
    我越过剧痛抚摸两片大海。
    在我身后天空的一角陷落
    循环的微笑从恋人抛向恋人
    而金色的圆球凭空钻出;
    并非出自这种愤怒
    拒绝蔓延像潜水钟呜响
    她的微笑是否将哺育那说者
    在镜子背后顺着我的眼睛燃烧。

    《Not From This Anger》

    Not from this anger, anticlimax after
    Refusal struck her loin and the lame flower
    Bent like a beast to lap the singular floods
    In a land strapped by hunger
    Shall she receive a bellyful of weeds
    And bear those tendril hands I touch across
    The agonized, two seas.
    Behind my head a square of sky sags over
    The circular smile tossed from lover to lover
    And the golden ball spins out of the skies;
    Not from this anger after
    Refusal struck like a bell under water
    Shall her smile breed that mouth, behind the mirror,
    That burns along my eyes.

    我掰开这面包

    我掰开这面包曾是燕麦,
    这酒长在外国的树上
    曾果实垂落。
    白天的人或夜晚的酒
    割倒庄稼,捣碎葡萄的欣悦。

    这酒里夏天的血
    曾敲碎藤蔓装扮的果肉。
    这面包里
    燕麦曾在风中欢欣;
    而人击碎太阳,放倒风。

    这切碎的肉,这献给你的血
    在血管里酿成孤独 。
    燕麦和葡萄
    富于感觉的根和汁;
    请饮我的酒,请咀嚼我的面包。

    This Bread I Break

    This bread I break was once the oat,
    This wine upon a foreign tree
    Plunged in its fruit;
    Man in the day or wind at night
    Laid the crops low, broke the grape's joy.

    Once in this wine the summer blood
    Knocked in the flesh that decked the vine,
    Once in this bread
    The oat was merry in the wind;
    Man broke the sun, pulled the wind down.

    This flesh you break, this blood you let
    Make desolation in the vein,
    Were oat and grape
    Born of the sensual root and sap;
    My wine you drink, my bread you snap.

    说说我对这首诗的粗浅理解吧。首先这首诗共六小节,每节一长两短或一短两长的句式,每节的句尾与下节对应的句尾押韵,后三节有换韵。有两个重复两次的词,deludes和possessed,描写她的疯狂,arm也重复两次,第一次写她的闭缩的状态,第二次却是开放的,一个温暖持久的怀抱。plume对应bird,紧接在arm后面,我猜测是把她的手臂平行比作鸟的羽翼。在意象上以这疯人住的逼仄的房间(strait,proof取不能穿透意,nightmarish room,narrow,madhouse)来对比她的磅礴的想象(clouds,large,oceans,skies简直要包罗宇宙万物),以显示她小小内核蕴含无限的想象与思索。rides the imagined oceans of the male wards,让我想到淌过男人河的女人,walking the nightmarish room,at large as the dead,她眼里无视这房间的限制,walking简直是徜徉。

    《Once It Was The Color of Saying》 你的原文有误,drowned,whistled

    Once it was the colour of saying
    Soaked my table the uglier side of a hill
    With a capsized field where a school sat still
    And a black and white patch of girls grew playing;
    The gentle seaslides of saying I must undo
    That all the charmingly drowned arise to cockcrow and kill.
    When I whistled with mitching boys through a reservoir park
    Where at night we stoned the cold and cuckoo
    Lovers in the dirt of their leafy beds,
    The shade of their trees was a word of many shades
    And a lamp of lightning for the poor in the dark;
    Now my saying shall be my undoing,
    And every stone I wind off like a reel.

    BBC上有段关于上面这首诗的话,原文如下:
    Several poems in the collection assess the role of poetry in his life. In 'Once it was the colour of saying' he makes a decision about the future of his work. Thomas acknowledges that his readers have been "charmingly drowned" in the complexity of his poetry, and resolves instead that his "saying shall be his undoing". He decides that in future he will undo his own style and tone down his difficult language.
