【梅德明谈口译考试常见问题及应对技巧】 梅德明：上海外国语大学教授、上海市外语口译岗位资格证书考试专家组成员、上海市会议口译与商务口译专家组专家、美国语言学博士 许多参加过口译考试的学生抱怨最多的还是最后的口译关。笔译相当好，口语部分也不错，却“卡”在了口译，并且连考几次都无法过关的考生很多。 问题出在哪里？ 口试分口语和口译两部分，而口译考试和口语考试相比，突出一个即时性，口译考试要求考生听四段录音，每段分别评分，其中两段是汉译英，两段是英译汉，口译中的问题往往出在英译汉部分，大部分考生是全军覆没，听不懂，以致一个字都翻译不出来。这样即使你汉译英全对，口译部分也是不及格。所以许多考生的问题出在听力部分的英译汉，愤恼不已。 在历次考试中，我对考生在口译考试出现的常见问题作了一下归纳： 一、是对英语无法即时理解。原因是反应速度慢。无法在听完录音后及时在脑海里迅速印现英语的中文含义。而在考生思考的时候，一段录音早就放好了。 二、是对外国口音不熟悉。我们试题组在选取这部分考题时，往往采用英语母语国家各种人员的录音，考生由于平时听的最多的是老师的口音，所以会感觉不适应。 三、是对生词放大，一段录音中往往总是有一些词对考生来说是陌生的，许多考生就“卡”住了，没有跳过去听完全文，而继续停留在这一个词上，根本没听完全部内容，更何况翻译。 四、是临场紧张，许多考生进了后，缺乏信心，常常自己给自己压力，十分紧张，如果一句话没听明白，就心灰意冷，表示放弃，这是没有进行这类似的考场环境训练所致。 能力提高是关键 口译能力的提高没有捷径可走，作一个冲刺训练，学习一点技巧尚可，而要在短短几星期中全面提高口译能力几乎是不可能的。我认为，要学习好外语必须有扎实的基础，而这一积累要靠长年累月的苦学得来，即使掌握了好的学习从量变到质变的过程，大家可以从几方面着手： 一、认真参加口译培训。中、高级口译这一课程中的翻译课具有相当难度，这不仅是因为要求对专业翻译技巧的熟练掌握，更因为翻译领域的用词和造句涉及面广、专业性强。翻译的语句往往涉及如金融、外事，旅游等各行各业及西方种种社会文化风情，还包括许多英语谚语，俚语翻译。如果不经过专业培训的话，这方面的翻译很难做到达意。 二、是熟读教材英语，口译包括五本教材，里面很多文章又长又难，有人觉得花了许多时间读了，考试了又不一定用上，于是对是否应情读这些教材产生了疑问。然而，我认为英语口译不是以知识为主，而是以技能为主，尤其不能指望靠突击的方式解决问题。在对教材的学习中要抱着学习技巧，锻炼能力的态度，结合本人的情况和薄弱环节重点突破学习，而不是死记硬背以期望在考试中能考到，只有端正了态度，才能做到在平时长期坚持学习。 三、是坚持操练。与学其他知识一样，学习英语必须要有一丝不苟和打破砂锅问到底的学习精神，对于学到的东西努力做到知其所以然，这样才能保证每天的学习都有收获，掌握的英语知识才会越来越多，水平才会越来越高。特别是当自己所学的知识能在生活中得以应用时，那分喜悦是没有经过努力学习的人难以体会的。 几个应试技巧 口译过关最主要的是技能，其次才是技巧。 听力的训练应该十分注重，要求多听，而且不要为听而听，要为译而听，要“耳听会译”，把口和译结合起来，鉴于口译是针对一些正式场合的翻译，建议考生选择真实的环境，去听各种各样的题材的口音，如CCTV－9套央视对话节目，卫视等频道，疯狂英语等等。当然，看记者招待会是最好的学习参照。另外多看翻译的碟片，看的时候最好是一人独自观摩，最好不要看银幕下的翻译，尝试自己理解。因为看碟片有助于学习者了解各种英语国家的口音，这在实践中效果尤为明显。 口译考试中很强调一个瞬间记忆的问题，即要求应试者在听一段文字后立刻口译成笔译，这对记忆力的要求非常高。训练的方法可以这样：听一段英语新闻，立刻在心中复述一遍，更可要求直接翻译。 口译题目是有口译考试专家组集体讨论决定的，虽然范围很广，但是一个原则，题材肯定会涉及到口译工作，如国际会议翻译、国际导游翻译等。 与汉语各地方言一样，英语也有不同口音，考试过程中，口译者并不要求能听懂每一个单词，关键在于能使原文意思清晰准确传达出来，因此在口译过程中，对原句意思的猜测是必不可少的。考生需要有意识改变以前强调听懂每个单词的习惯，将重点放在整句的翻译上。

两字短语 Two word expressions （两字短语） In spoken English, we often use two-word phrases, such as "so-so". 遥控直升机词汇 Antenna----天线 发射机及接收机皆有天线，使用时应把发射机天线完全拉出，以利传送讯号。接收机之天线要利用树脂管子由机首延伸出机外，不可将接收机天线裁短或卷成一团，以免减少接收距离。 Aileron-----副翼 控制直升机左右倾斜的方向。 Aux------辅助的 英文auxiliary的缩写。五动以上的接收机，其第六以上的频道名称会以Aux 1、Aux 2来命名。 ATV-----行程量 伺服机的左右最大转动角度。一般而言ATV为100%时，伺服机约可转动50°，120%时约可转动60°。 Carburetor-----化油器 控制进气口的节气阀开口大小，调节燃油与空气的混合比。 Channel----频道 频道的解释有两种，一为发射机与接收机所使用的无线电波频率，国内目前只开放72MHz波段为飞行器合法频道。二为发射机与接收机所能控制的动作数。 Crystal-----晶体 石英振荡器，用来控制发射机与接收机之无线电波频率。 Dual rate----大小动作比例 控制摇杆与伺服机行程量的比例，设定为100%时，摇杆打满舵，伺服机移动总行程量的100%；设为70%时，摇杆打满舵，伺服机只移动总行程量的70%。 Elevator--升降舵 控制直升机前进後退的方向。 Fail-Safe--失控保护 遇到电波干扰时会自动锁定伺服机，只有采用PCM编码的遥控设备才具备此功能。 Gear-----起落架 控制机轮的收放。 Ground Effect---地面效应 当机体接近地面时，主旋翼与地面间会产生一股上升的浮力，类似乱流，使机体较不稳定。典型的地面效应其有效高度约等於主旋翼旋转面的直径长度。 Gyro----陀螺仪 能侦测机体以主轴为中心点的自转角速度，并自动修正，保持方向舵的稳定，是方向舵的安定装置。有机械式、压电式及机头锁定式三种。 Hunting----追踪现象 若陀螺仪的感度设得太大，当直升机在高速飞行时机尾会产生左右摇摆的现象。解决的方法是降低陀螺仪的感度。 Idle mixture---副油针 又称低速油针，控制引擎低速运转时的油气混合比。 Needle valve--主油针 又称高速油针，控制引擎中、高速运转时的油气混合比。 Ni-Cd battery--镍镉电池 可充电式电池，每个单体的电压为1.2V，由数个单体串接成为电池组。发射机用9.6V，接收机用4.8V。镍镉电池的优点是容量大，可提供稳定的电流，缺点是有记忆效应及放电截止电压。 Pitch---螺距 旋翼回转平面与翼片翼弦线前缘与後缘连接而成的假想直线所成的夹角。必须用螺距规(Pitch gauge)来测量。 Receiver---接收机 接收由发射机送出之电波讯号，并转换为控制伺服机之讯号。依编码方式不同可分为AM、FM(PPM)与PCM。 Revolution Mixing---上下跟轴 主旋翼以顺时针方向旋转的直升机，机体会产生逆时针方向旋转的扭力，必须藉由尾旋翼产生的作用力来抵消。当主旋翼的转速或螺距改变时（意指拨动油门摇杆），其产生的扭力大小也会跟著改变，因此必须同时改变尾旋翼的螺距，使其产生的作用力与主旋翼产生的扭力刚好可以互相抵消。一般的陀螺仪并不足以修正此变化量（锁定式的陀螺仪除外），必须藉由尾舵与螺距作混控来补正。 Rudder--方向舵（尾舵） 控制直升机左右旋转的方向。 Servo---伺服机 由无核心马达所构成，可依据接收机发出的指令，转动至定点的位置，是各个舵面的动力来源。伺服机的规格主要是扭力与速度，扭力的单位是 / ，意指摆臂长度1公分处所能吊起的物重。速度的单位是秒/60°，意指转动60°所需要的秒数。 Sub-trim----辅助微调 调整伺服机的中立点位置，由遥控器内部的程式设定。 Throttle---油门 控制化油器的节气阀开口大小，进而控制引擎的转速。 Transmitter---发射机 俗称遥控器，发射无线电波之控制讯号给接收机。依编码方式不同可分为AM(Amplitude Modulation)、FM(Frequency Modulation)与PCM(Pulse Code Modulation)。AM容易被干扰，一般使用於低价位之遥控器，FM无失控保护装置。发射机与接收机须使用相同的无线电波频率及编码方式。 Trim---微调 调整伺服机的中立点位置，由遥控器面板上的滑动开关控制/臭美
