Taurus Horoscope for September 2017 By Susan Miller Get ready for an enchanting month, with plenty of opportunity for a fun social life, and if single, the real possibility for you to experience the beginnings of a breathtaking romance, too. You will have time to see plays or go to concerts, enjoy sports, take in special museum exhibits, shop for clothes for a new season, and still have time to play with children in September. Last month it looks like you were traveling, and at the same time you heard exciting developments in regard to your career and living situation. You've been working hard and need a breather. The universe agrees and is about to give it to you. Let's start at the top of the month and go from there. There is a lot to say! On September 1 and September 2, Mars and Uranus will work together to set off pretty fireworks to energize your home sector. If you hope to sell, buy, or lease an apartment or house, you are likely to be excited about a development that happens at the very start of the month. The action planet, Mars, now in your home sector, may cause you to move early in the month, or if you like your space, you may decide to work on making improvements to your space. Mars usually brings noise - you may have contractors in your home (or other property you own) or houseguests. The next two days, September 3 and September 4, could prove important for home-related plans, too. Two eclipses came by last month - the first, a full moon lunar eclipse in Aquarius, on August 7 - sent a bolt of lightning to the very pinnacle point of your chart, ruling professional honors, awards, and achievement. The second one was a solar new moon eclipse, August 21, that centered your attention on your home. Did you hear big news on either date? If you didn't get any news, you might hear about property or home and family on September 3 or 4. If you are renovating or decorating, you will see progress at the same time, in the first week of September. The same area of the chart, your fourth house, rules your family, so you may be focused on one of your parents or another close family member. When Mars moves over the precise degree of an eclipse, 29 degrees Leo, as it will on these two days, Mars will unlock the message of the August 21 eclipse that touched your home sector. September 3 or 4 could turn out to be big days. Occasionally an eclipse won't bring any news when an eclipse occurs but will one month to the day later, plus or minus four days. That means you should also be ready to hear news about career matters on September 7, and you may hear more about your home or family near September 21. Some people have asked me on Twitter (@Astrologyzone) if it is possible to feel news of an eclipse one month to the day earlier, such as on July 7 or July 21, and the answer is yes. Sometimes you see progress on all three dates, before, during and after the eclipse (plus or minus four days). In that case, all those days would be united in theme. Astrologers know that eclipses form a kind of bell curve. Mercury was retrograde since August 12, making everything you tried to achieve last month a little harder to do. People you needed to reach to get final answers were out of reach or indecisive. You may have come up against obstacles right and left, and each needed to be fixed before you could proceed forward. Now, Mercury goes direct on September 5, and you will enjoy a much faster pace - you will notice you are much more motivated and optimistic, and rightly so. Soon you can buy the electronic item, appliance, or car you have been coveting too, but allow a few days space from September 5 to the day you take action. I like September 17 the best for buying electronics and machines, if you can wait that long, for Uranus (which rules high tech) will be in lovely conversation with Venus, your ruler and planet of pleasure. It will be a relief to be free of Mercury retrograde. The next time Mercury will retrograde again will be from December 3 to December 22, indicating you'll need to do your holiday shopping early. Start making your list. I can hear you groan, but if you do make that list, you will save yourself so much trouble. Just make the list, nothing more! It won't be imperative to shop for gifts until November, but this year no last minute shopping will work. The stores will be empty, express shipment companies like FedEx and UPS will be overwhelmed, and many packages will never make it on time. If you have someone special to buy a gift for - your partner, a child, your mother, sister, father, and best friend - you get the idea. Shop early to avoid disappointment and frustration. All through the rest of the month, after September 5, you will be in high spirits and in quite a social time. The full moon of September 5 (plus or minus three days) will likely bring an invitation to a party, picnic, barbeque, sporting event, or other exciting event that draws many happy people together. It seems most likely to be a party or a benefit because a full moon in Pisces tends to create a dream of an environment. Neptune will conjunct that full moon, so the event may be quite glamorous, with a soft, poetic vibe, possibly replete with flowers and fine food, creating the prettiest setting you've seen in a very long time. Pluto will be in fine angle to the full moon, suggesting you will be mixing with people from all walks of life, such as from foreign countries, government, academia, and/or the media. There is an outside chance that you would be throwing the party, and if so, your timing will be perfect. It will be a big success. If your birthday falls on May 5 plus or minus four days, you will benefit the most from this full moon. If you have Taurus rising, 14 degrees, or the moon in Taurus of the same degree, with the same tolerance of plus or minus four days, you, too, will feel the effects of this full moon September 5 very strongly. Also if you have a natal planet at 14 degrees, plus or minus four degrees, in Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn, Cancer, Scorpio, or Pisces, get set for a wonderful full moon. Things will even better and more romantic as the month goes on. Two days rate a gold star on your romantic timeline, no matter if you are single or married. Here they are: On Friday, September 15, Venus and Jupiter will work together to create a special evening, a perfect one to schedule a first date, or if you have been going out a long time, a special weekend together, just for two. You are ruled by Venus, so when Venus meets with Jupiter at any time, that's always good news! On Sunday, September 17, Jupiter will work with Uranus, bringing happy, over-the-top surprises and serendipity. If you are single, you may unexpectedly meet someone at a party. Everyone will be in a bubbly mood this day. These two days, September 15 and September 17, have a plus or minus one day, so you have a melding of both aspects mixed together to provide you with the possibility for a very memorable weekend, September 15 to 17. Venus will move into your love sector on September 20, to stay until October 15. This is extraordinary, as you will see as you read on - the best new moon of the year to foster love for you will arrive September 19. Venus will travel with her lover Mars, which is a rare and wonderful cosmic coincidence - and begs the question, ARE there any coincidences, really? The universe is creating a perfect environment for love, dear Taurus, and Cupid and his little fleet of angels will be out and about, working hard for you. Indeed, your love might well move into high gear when the new moon arrives in Virgo, 27 degrees. This is your big moment, dear Taurus, for you can have the best aspects in the world - but without a new moon, nothing much happens. This new moon will arrive September 19 with trumpets on a red carpet and will light your fifth house of true love, a part of your chart that also rules fun, leisure, and exciting romance. With Venus found there with her lover Mars, along with Mercury, the Sun, and new moon all in the highly compatible sign of Virgo, no matter what your marital status, your love life could now take flight. Virgo is an earth sign like yours, so these planets in Virgo will be supremely supportive of your aim to find true love. This new moon will have a slightly bigger effect on you if you are single, for it will help you find someone new to love. Here I am not referring to casual love, but a solid chance to find true love. If you are single, this is the very best new moon of the year for you to circulate. If you are attached, you will have fun too, for you will get noticeably more attention from your partner - always good news. Also, if you hope for a baby, this would be the time to try for conception after the new moon arrives, September 19, plus two weeks or even longer. (The first half of October is special too, especially the first week.) This new moon will benefit you the most if you are a Taurus born on May 18, plus or minus three days. If you have Taurus rising 27 degrees, or the natal moon at that degree, plus or minus four degrees, you, too, will benefit. Also, if you know your chart, if you have a natal planet at 27 degrees Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn, Cancer, Scorpio, or Pisces, you will find that benefit brings you happiness this month. There is one caution to note concerning the new moon, September 19, for Neptune will oppose Mercury, and Mercury is the planet that rules your fifth house of true love. Neptune has two very different sides, and I will describe them both to you now. If you are single, I will ask you to be careful before you get deeply involved in a new relationship during the weeks and months ahead. Be sure you know your partner well before you give your heart. Neptune will throw a gossamer silk veil over reality, making your view of the world, and your new partner, quite wonderful. However, the parts of your partner you don't know but assume to be true about your partner might be off. Until you know for sure, assume nothing. We all do this in matters of the heart - we fill in the blanks with glowing attributes of our partner, ones that our new partner may or may not deserve. We are wrapped in the tender rush of love, so it's so hard not to think of a lover in glowing terms. Until you know your proposed partner better, take things at a slow, leisurely pace. Ask to meet your new partner's friends and family. Listen to your own friends' assessment of your new partner. If your partner doesn't introduce you to anyone close, that's a red flag. This may be the relationship of your dreams, or it could become a relationship nightmare. On one hand, you might be dating someone who is married, taking drugs, or drinks too much, or is being duplicitous to you in other ways. It pains me to point this out to you, but I feel duty-bound because of Neptune's strong role in this new moon, training rays on your love life. On the other hand, the other side of Neptune is its ability to bring you great inspiration. You may find your new partner is highly artistic, is an actor, or works in a very creative profession. Neptune has two sides, so one or the other may come out as a result of Neptune's strong presence at this new moon September 19 and the weeks to come. It could also be that your new partner works for a charity or humanitarian cause or is a social worker, striving to improve people's lives. Neptune engenders great compassion for those who suffer. As you see, it could be this reality, or it could be the first description that I outlined. None of this will affect you if you have been dating seriously a long time, or if you are already married. In your case, if this describes your situation, other planets and other houses of your horoscope come into play. If you have been dating a long while and are serious about your partner, you may be excited about getting engaged or married soon. I say that for two important reasons. This month, on September 28, Pluto, the powerhouse planet that always rules your solar seventh house of love, will go direct, having been retrograde for months, since April 20. This move forward of Pluto will noticeably speed up plans to wed. (If you are self-employed, Pluto's move direct will also help you make a firm plan to take on a collaborator, expert, or business partner if you have considered doing so recently.) The other reason I feel you will soon wed is due to the move of good fortune planet Jupiter to your commitment / marriage house next month on October 10, to stay for thirteen months, until early November 2018. This is a HUGE upcoming trend, for Jupiter has not been in your marriage house for more than a decade, making the coming thirteen months the best ever to tie the knot. Looking at your solar chart, if you are ready to wed, your partner is ready too. Be optimistic - your relationship is moving in the right direction. If you are already married, the presence of good fortune Jupiter next month and beyond will help you bond closer in love. You both will enjoy prosperity too - having Jupiter in that house suggests that more money will pour into your household. An upbeat financial outlook will allow you to travel together and set up other new goals, such as to buy a house or have a child. The best is yet to come, dear Taurus! If you work in a creative profession, or with creative people, you will do outstandingly well this month, too, particularly after the new moon of September 19 when you will have FIVE (count 'em!) heavenly bodies in your fifth house that rule not only your love life and pregnancy/birth and care of children, but also your own artistic expression. Your creative ideas and projects will show great originality, for one of Neptune's gifts is that of imagination. (As you see, Neptune is not all bad! My goodness, no!) Neptune is considered the higher octave of Venus. Venus just wants to have fun and enjoy sensual pleasures such as flowers, music, art, perfume, chocolates, champagne, and beautiful clothes, as a few examples. Venus gives us the icing on the cake of life, but there is more to love than luxurious, sensual pleasures. That's when Neptune comes in to help. Neptune, as the higher octave of Venus, teaches to love deeply, so much so that you would be willing to make a sacrifice so that your beloved can benefit. You can feel this depth of love for a partner, child, mother, or others, for example - or can love your fellow man, and make a sacrifice for the benefit a stranger, such as when you donate to relieve their suffering. When you find Neptune active, you will usually see the element of sacrifice for another at play. This month, you may feel that overwhelming love for a partner; it may be love that goes so deep that you will feel ready to dive to the bottom of the sea of love together, forever. Summary Lots of people associate September with going back to school or work - that might be true for others but not you. You, dear Taurus, will be the delightful exception to the rule, for when it comes to love and fun, September is likely to be your very best month - and when it comes to love and enjoying life's pleasures, September will surpass all your expectations. If single, you must be willing to circulate and be open to new types. Your angels will be working hard to give you an enchanting month to meet a person who understands you in a way you may not have found in anyone before. If you are attached, time to be with your partner and to grow closer will set your spirits soaring. You will immediately notice a fresh, soft atmosphere to September. The full moon, September 5, will light your sector of events / fun / people and friends, suggesting that within four days of the date of the full moon, you will be surrounded by friendly people at a celebratory event such as a wedding or birthday party. Pluto will be very supportive, so you will find the people in attendance to be successful types, and you may be inspired by their stories of how they got to where they are now. Yet this full moon has a higher purpose. Neptune, the planet of imagination, known for spinning poetic, lyrical, and dreamlike experiences, will conjoin this full moon, enlarging the magic and wonder of a special event you go to or give yourself. No invites? Buy tickets to a Broadway show or concert followed by a dinner in a romantic restaurant - at the time of the full moon, the sky will be painted many shades of blue, lavender, purple, and pink, just for you. September will focus you on your personal life, to balance out the strong emphasis on career that occurred last month, in August. As you begin September, you may be thinking about your home, which started to be emphasized last month. Mars will touch the degrees of the August 21 eclipse on September 3 and September 4, a possible breakthrough day for you for home-related matters. Venus will be moving through your home sector, so design choices will be ones you will love for a long time, so it's worth taking time to browse. Do so while you have Venus at your side, until September 19. Even small accents or a change of wall color will be a morale booster. September 21 plus or minus four days may bring more startling news about your home, and earlier, September 7 (plus or minus four days) may bring more career news out of the blue. This is due to the eclipses, which occurred August 7 and August 21 - sometimes news is delivered one month to the day later, within a tolerance of four days. It will be the second part of the month that brings the very best news, for the seedlings of new love will then start to grow and become noticeable. Circle September 15 in gold, for on that day, Venus, your ruling planet, will receive an elegant beam from the great planet of good fortune, Jupiter. If you are not packing up to move house, a party you give at home (not a club or restaurant) will be a smashing success, so you might consider inviting friends over that weekend. Your entertaining skills will be in full view, and be impressive too. The new moon, September 19, is when you will see the full force of the romantic aspects at play. Rarely have you had such a strong outlook for finding your one true love. Each planet will act like a loving relative that wants to have you coupled up. Saturn will be in hard angle, however, so you may be concerned about money when deciding on events to attend. If invited to a wedding, a thoughtful gift, carefully and lovingly chosen and that you feel is especially appropriate, will touch the heart of the bride and groom - not how much you spent. If you do have to spend to attend, do it, for this is no ordinary month. Your fifth house of true love will brim with five heavenly bodies - that is half the solar system - which will include the Sun, new moon, Mercury, Venus, and Mars. You will have the most perfect setting to engender new love that you've seen for months, and possibly years. The ancient astrologers knew that Mars and Venus, when aligned perfectly, have the job of setting off the sexy sparks of love. Venus and Mars want to be together. Most of the time, the universe sends each planet, Venus and Mars, to different corners of the universe, and so all Venus and Mars can do is gaze at one another across the star-studded evening sky. Now, suddenly, a rendezvous of these two love birds is being planned, and they will be close - scheduled to embrace on October 6 and be mathematically close enough for you to feel the sparkling silver dust of love during September's last week. Attached, married, or single, the planets are twinkling just for you. By early October, the silver dust will come down in a thick flurry of beauty, like a snowstorm of love, but by the last day of September you will be close enough to feel the ones of this lovely blizzard.
