Breast cancer affects all of us in some way. In an effort to raise awareness of breast cancer and support better breast health, the Women in Society Outreach Working Group will host a film screening, panel discussion, and Q&A session on Thursday, October 24th.
Following a short film screening, there will be a moderated panel discussion that will cover important information about breast cancer that everyone should know, including common myths vs. facts and what you can do to reduce your risk. The panel will then explore differences in public awareness and treatment approaches between China and the U.S. The panel will consist of both Chinese and American medical providers specializing in women’s health.
Finally, we will look to the audience to relate their personal experiences and to pose questions for our panel of experts.
Interpretation will be provided in both Chinese and English. This event is a program of the Consulate’s Women in Society Outreach Working Group and all are welcome to attend!
