Most of us enjoy listening to music, but did you know that music actually benefits your brain? Thousands of studies have shown that music education improves academic achievement, builds communication skills, fosters creativity, develops teamwork, and increases engagement in school. Join us for an amazing lecture led by two music educators. One speaker is James Anderson, owner and founder of Global 360 and Global Expressions. Mr. Anderson is a professionally trained singer from New York City. Another speaker is from the Music Teachers National Association of China (MTNA), with experience working as a piano teacher and conducting in-depth research about Chinese and American music education. The program will include a performance of famous Broadway songs from New York. This will be an event that you and your family will not want to miss! You are welcome to the U.S. Consulate on Thursday, May 16 at 19:00 in Lincoln Hall.
本次活动有中英文部分，英文部分配有中文翻译。 The program will be in Chinese and English with Chinese interpretation.
Note: You will be asked to show your ID card or passport for admission. Children must be accompanied by an adult. No cameras will be allowed and there is no place to check them, so please don't bring any cameras with you. Thank you for your cooperation.
