An artist dubbing himself as "Gato" (cat in Spanish), Gaston is a professional tango dancer and instructor, a career enriched by his other backgrounds such as theater acting. He's a relaxing person, a smooth natural dancer, and generous teacher, well received by organizers in HK, Shanghai etc. Since his arrival in Beijing Oct. 9, his days are fully occupied by group and privates. Gatto Misiti, born in BsAs Argentina, is an experienced tango dancer, instructor, and Tango DJ. With a background as physical training teacher and theater actor, he approaches Tango as continuous organic movements that connects from within ourself and our partners, through the music that gather us together and the technique as a unit for a common language . Recent years he has been resident teacher at the Tango school "El desbande", the "Milonga del pipa club" and "BellosAires", in Barcelona, a city representing Spain's high level in tango dancing. He's also invited to teach in Canada, the U.S, etc. He is Organizer and DJ at the milonga at Bellos Aires, and has been invited as guest DJ in milongas in Barcelona, France, Netherlands, Hong Kong, Thailand, Vietnam, Taiwan, Malaysia and China, and at Tango marathons and festivals.
Gastón has trained with maestros along the road like Julio Balmaceda, Fabián Peralta, Rafael Romano, Pablo Inza, Mariana Dragone and Gustavo Naveira among others, grabbing different concepts and styles and growing his own dance. He's also influenced by his precedents as actor, having training with directors like Chiqui Berraondo, Manuel Lillo and Xose López. Among other jobs, Gastón had participated as actor and founding member of the theater company "La crueldad de los sueños" ("The cruelty of the dreams").
