2014 年底发行的首张个人爵士专辑《The Island 岛叙》更是远赴英国精心录制而成，启用全英一流乐手阵容，其中包括Van Morrison御用萨克斯大师Lee Goodall。专辑里，司徒包揽了大部分编曲，在颠覆经典曲目的同时却不失传统爵士的味道，才华被淋漓尽致地展现。英国爵士钢琴家Richard Roberts曾评价他为：“一位充满潜能的爵士音乐人……一位前途无量的音乐家。”

Jonas Seetoh is recognized as a leading Chinese jazz vocalist and pianist who marries trained technique with his own unique interpretation of jazz music. His soulful voice resonates with a unique charm that recalls the Motown crooners of old. British pianist Richard Roberts describes Jonas as "a young jazz musician with great potential... a true performer in the making!"
In 2011, Jonas won a scholarship to study at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in Cardiff. It was here that he studied with world-class jazz singers Tina May and Claire Martin. Not long after, Jonas reached the final placing for the National Competition of the “Pizza Express Big Audition” in London. He was subsequently invited to perform several dates across the UK including the Brecon and Hay Jazz Festivals. Jonas has since relocated to Shanghai where he is a regular feature at the renowned JZ Club. He is a frequent collaborator with China’s preeminent jazz artists including Lawrance Ku and Coco Zhao.
His latest album “The Island” showcases his vocal and arrangement and prowess. The songs include elements of swing, bebop, Bossanova, funk and fusion and feature performances by Van Morrison's saxophonist Lee Goodall.
