Brief introduction of Wang Wen:
As a leading post rock band in China, Wang Wen enjoy music lives and they been toured many times in China and Europe. They had shared the stage with some famous foreign post rock bands, such as Mogwai, Mono and PJ.lost. And they also have a lot of experience in different kinds of music festivals and music pubs. All these experiences make their shows become awesome and full of an unspoken charm. The beauty and attraction of Wang Wen’s music lay in their positive attitude toward life and their abilities of reinventing the past and making captivating and beautiful tunes in their music.
Wang Wen has been been around for 15 years and this summer they will celebrate it with a new album. The band created some new music and worked with some of the top producers in China and Canada. Their 8th studio album was recorded in a library in Dalian and produced by the well known Chinese Post Punk Band--PK 14's much respected lead singer Yang Haisong, Ningbo based producer Anzi and Wouter Vlaeminckx, front man of Belgium indie band Toman.
