Introduction to Kant's Critical Theoretical Philosophy

Course description:
This course will lead students to Kant’s theoretical philosophy by reading his Critique of Pure Reason. We shall focus on Kant’s analysis of the structure of consciousness which is demonstrated in the text to warrant our claims of knowledge. Students are expected to master some key concepts of Kant’s critical philosophy, such as transcendental, discursiveness, reason, deduction, etc., as well as the gist of the transcendental arguments. Credits can be earned by active participation and qualified final paper.
