美国威斯康辛州2018年提出的环境素养和可持续发展的学习目标中,对联结感中sense of place的目标如下:
Grade Band K-2
1.impact of humans in those systems.
2.Identify where one’s food and water comes from and where it goes.
3.Identify different levels that make up one’s sense of place (local, regional, national, global).
Grade Band 3-5
1.Examine how meeting one’s needs for food, water, and shelter can impact natural and cultural systems.
Grade Band 6-8
1.relationships between the environment and geography of a locality and its history, culture, and economy.
2.Gather data from primary sources to identify local needs and compare to perceived local, regional, or global needs.
3.Investigate alternatives to meeting one’s needs for food, water, and shelter.
Grade Band 9-12
1.analyze the effects on local, regional, and global natural and cultural systems.

The series follows the ethos of the International Centre for Cultural and Heritage Studies (ICCHS) at Newcastle University, where these issues are seen as part of an integrated whole, including both cultural and natural agendas, and thus encompasses challenges faced by all types of museums, art galleries, heritage sites and the organisations and individuals that work with, and are affected by them.

Gaining a sense of wonder is admitting to not knowing. As the Zen parable goes, we learn better when we have an empty cup. We need to open our minds as well as our senses and let wonder back in. In her book The Having of Wonderful Ideas, Eleanor Duckworth puts it this way: "Knowing the fight answer requires no decisions, carries no risks, and makes no demands. It is automatic. It is thoughtless." Too often children want the quick, easy answer. They learn one fact and believe they know it all. There is power in not knowing.
