新浪博客规定标题字数太有限了。我其实要写的题目是:
《Developing a Learning Culture in Nonprofit Organizations》读书小记
MSN Spaces就让我写了完整的题目,8错~~
当然,这本书的名字也挺长。。。汗~
这本书一看就和我专业学习无关。我为啥看?原因很简单:好玩。
所以,以下写的不是书评。只是摘记,我觉得有意思的小地方而已。
所以,千万别当书评,千万别因为我写了日志就要去找来看。不必要不必要。
我不到一个小时就翻完了,属于skim through抽取关键字方式。
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
这本书讲的是:
我们需要学习型的文化,如今存在什么问题或者障碍。发展学习型的文化需要具备哪些元素。
我们知道有个人的学习,但是这并不是学习型文化应该引导的方向,因为还有team,whole organization,community等等,这种学习型组织的建设才是重要的,尤其是在没有不以盈利为导向的非盈利组织中。
学习还要有所反馈,要有E.v.a.luation,有科学的model做指导才行。(不这么写新浪博客会莫名的砍掉一些字母。。。诡异)
好了。介绍完毕,开始说我感兴趣的了。
说话的技巧/行为:
Blame Behaviors
Gain Behaviors
Judging: "You were wrong."
Exploring: "What happened?"
Showing emotion: "I'm furious with you."
Remaining calm: "Try not to worry about it."
Reacting to what you think happened: "You should have ..."
Finding out exactly what happened: "Let's take this one step at a time."
Blaming people for getting it wrong: "You should never have let this happen."
Focusing on the process that allowed the mistake to happen: "What could have been done differently?"
Finding fault: "You have only yourself to blame."
Providing support: "This must be difficult for you but don't forget this has happened to us all."
Focusing on effects: "This is going to cause enormous problems for me."
Focusing on causes: "What I want to focus on is all the things that enabled this to happen to us all."
Assuming the person should feel guilty/be contrite: "You really have only yourself to blame."
Assuming the person wants to learn: "What are the main lessons for us?"
Seeing mistakes as something that must be avoided: "This must never happen again."
Seeing mistakes as part of a learning process: "We can learn a lot from this."
E.v.a.luation is(这里不细说了): (不这么写新浪博客会莫名的砍掉一些字母。。。诡异)
* Part science and part art;
* Part objectivity and part subjectivity;
* Part neutrality and part advocacy;
* Part numbers and part stories;
* Part proving and part improving.
You don't get harmony when everybody sings the same note. -- Doug Floyd
I don't divide the world into the weak and the strong, or the successes and the failures... I divide the world into the learners and nonlearners.
-- Benjamin Barber
It's not what you don't know that'll hurt you, it's what you do know that ain't so.
-- Appalachian Mountain Proverb
It's not what you look at that matters, it's what you see.
-- Henry David Thoreau
