Eric Idle 99年在洛杉矶的演唱会实录，那会儿的他还没搞出spamalot，唱着python的老歌巡回圈钱才是王道
鉴于当年python巡演都是小品为主唱歌为辅，这张集锦唱片也算是补了个缺吧
毕竟是五十好几的人了，Idle的声线已不比当年，好在全乐班的配置添了不少效果
曲目不局限于他所唱过的歌，其他几位python的也照单全收——当然，作为小组中唯一一位有音乐细胞的成员，这些也大都就是他写的
此外，idle也唱了几首个人作品，包括rutles的金曲
可惜还是没有收入圣杯中那首歌颂Sir Robin一百零八种死法的赞歌
整场演出Spam开场，自由钟收尾，压轴的自然是葬礼超级金曲和异装癖金曲
有的歌词作了改动，如I like Chinese，Accountancy Shanty
有的编曲变了一变，Eric The Half Bee就成了爵士慢摇
最给我惊喜的是一段Idle的串场词
说当年the meaning of life第一次和大片厂合作，python们的剧本拒绝任何notes，前制时直接递上了预算书和一首小诗，竟然蒙混过关，诗文如下：
There's everything in this movie
Everything that fits
From the meaning of life in the universe
To girls with great big tits
We've got movie stars and foreign cars
Explosions and the lot
Filmed as only we know how
On the budget that we've got
We've spent a fortune on locations
And quite a bit on drink
And there's even the odd philosophical joke
Just to make you buggers think
Yet some parts are just as serious
And deep as you could wish
But largely it's all tits and ass
And quite a bit of fish
Other bits are fairly childish
And some are frankly rude
But at least we've got a lot of nice girls
All banging around in the nude
So take your seats, enjoy yourselves
And let's just hope it's funny
Because it's not only done to make you laugh
But to make us lots of money
So sit back and have a good time
With your boyfriend or your wife
Relax and just enjoy yourself

他好像是说过创作Spamalot之前正式因为巡演发现观众们反应挺热烈的，于是觉得弄一个音乐剧应该会很受欢迎，于是就写了个Spamalot了。不过网上一直没有Spamalot的官方录像流出，只有一个用cam偷拍的版本。Tim Curry演King Authur的那个原版很精彩，英国版的感觉差点。

Yeah, I went for a london show, still really good though! Remembered being really surprised at how good it was!I absolutely love rocky horror. It's the only film I've got on my computer so i can watch it again and again.
Sometimes I find myself singing 'I'm a sweet transvestite' in the street. ( I do love that song, even more than time warp.)
Tim curry is amazing in that film. Love it.

curry那个嗲劲拿捏无人匹敌，那个四碟原声套装里电影版超过原始剧院版
不过我的最爱没得说，science fiction, double feature， B恐科幻影迷最爱

我还真是没有看过多少science fiction.喜欢hitchhiker's guide。
B恐科幻包括昆丁的那些吗？ 昆丁拍的东西都很喜剧倒是。
