Taking it for granted that the warm gravel under their feet was lasting earth, and not the precipice edge of disaster.

这本书的妙处在于从一个女人的角度看出去的青春少女的性格刻画 和 残酷的事实 这些对比正如这段话 如此不可避免地悲哀最令我欣慰的 主要是约瑟芬她搞怪的幽默感和自嘲 英国人哪 总是有这股酸酸的味
