【Intro】The ranges of music which I concerntrate on is rather narrow.Following others’ steps I got into the Taiwanese popular music and regarded it as something comforting.As for the types of my favorite music,well,I almost have nothing to responed.——it’s always reluctant for me to feast my ears on the mid-speed melody,thus bulding a “musical wall” for myself.With the thought that such elements of population is far enough to be satisfactory,I’ve spent a rather long time. Reminisce the first time when I broke this,I was listening to Sum41’s Still Waiting.And I suddenly found the powerful electronic metal music as well as the hysteria is so exciting.Then,looking through the lyrics,I noticed that they were also given an ati-war meaning.Thus I managed to learn music is not only a kind of drug to heal your heart wound,but also a way to express your anger to something that you think troubled.From then on,I began to get close to those songs which are related to the society until the other day I even found my own movement had become so exaggerate.And thare’s no doubt that my “Eminem Time” is the representatives of this period.
I know sometimes there are too many things that cannot make sense to me at once.But maybe in order to meet one’s requirement,the whole society will be upside down.Eminem’s thoughts are to express his feelings or laugh at the rediculous scenes by his hip-pop.Every now and then,some of his words are too negative for me as if they came from another world. In his songs,all the dirty words are allowed ‘cause you cannot find a better way for him to give vent to his feelings;the beat is always fast as though there was somehing driving him to finish his telling the whole event in just five minutes.
【1st Verse:Stan】I don’t know how depressing one might be if everything had fallen apart via his or her endless strength;I don’t know the ebullient hope could turn out to be rage and sorrow.But I can really feel that one’s death means the moment when others know it ,all the mood in their heart will be controlled by regret and sign.Unluckily,Stan is right the kind of die-hard fan of Eminem.His family was really a mess while he kept on writing letters to his idol without any reply.At last,on a rainy day,he tied his girlfriend in his car and fell into the river together when the car was crossing a bridge. And when it was reported over the TV before long,Eminem was writing to him.——One year ago,I heard the words“turn on the TV and I see you there.”considering that this is a romantic glance by chance.However,the backgrouds can become so disheartened that you cannot help getting dispointed.Emienem unfold us the fact by writing this songs,talling his fans to just treat his music as something relaxing and not get too crazy.
Dido’s voice in the rain sounds rather faint.With the musical accompaniment getting louder and louder,you can understand the hopelessness as well as once disheartened.In the music video,you can see the walls with many posters,and experience the non-stop argument.It seems sorry to hear the story,but on the other hand,I do admire Stan’s loyalty and detemination.
【2nd Verse:Lose Yourself】The thick moonlight covered the 8 miles district;everthing strenched itself lazily and some figures glided in the darkness of the night towards home. Having overcome a chain of hardship,Rabbit won the rap competition ,but he finally chose to return to his poor factory regardness of the upcoming honour.At this moment you can hear the song Lose Yourself which is full of the heavy atmosphere.——As Eminem’s first movie adapted from his real experience,it showed us how he dealt with the trouble around him and succeeded in the area of rap which considered just belonging to the blacks.
At the beginning of the songs,Eminem asks“if you had one shot to seize everything you ever wanted,would you capture it or just let it slip?”Then he began to lace the track and lock the flow. He was choking,how everybodywas joking.To drop bombs but he kept on forgetting.The whole song sound like a chanllenge to his destiny.Through it Eminem won the Grammy Award and the Oscar’s best music at the same time.I never want to strain my head to guess if I should translate the name of the song into “getting puzzled in the life ” or “throw oneself in the music.” It is shure that we can always try haed to do something that exciting you.Never stop the struggling before the success comes and take the honour for granted as it finally reaches——that’s Eminem’s own choice.
【3rd Verse:When I’m Gone】“Have you ever loved someone so much, you'd give an arm for?”This is the question that Eminem asked before the song When I’m gone. And the people whom he would like to give an arm for is her daughter named Hailie. You will feel completely his deep regret by lisening to this work.The short upsurge might sound a little weird,and them it turns out to be a general speaking.One the title page of the album Curtain Call:The Hits,roses has fallen on the stage and the curtains are pulled which gives rise to many fanses’ worry about his leaving the field of music.
His daughter advise him to leave and just stay with the family,hoping to enjoy the happy times that they spend together.But our Eminem was too stubborn to accept her request,thinking that all’s going to be okay after finishing the whole work.“And when I'm gone, just carry on, don't mourn.Rejoice every time you hear the sound of my voice”he just said so. The music viedo is really worh seeing.I cannot forget the scene in which Hailie throws a coin to the stage where his father was standing and Eminem can just pick it up.
【Outro】While listening to Eminem’s music,maybe your eyes will be dazzled because of the close and numerous lyrics;maybe you’ll complain that you cannot sing along with the beat and succeed finishing all the contents,maybe you don’t wanna accept his sharp melody that is filled with personality;maybe you are disgusted with the incisive views.However,these are the every ways of the Detroit white rap singer.He never stops creating booms in the field of music and eventually has become the world’s famouse superstar.The 12 Grammy Awards are among others the most strongest proofs.Just like my experience of throwing myself into Eminem’s hubbub works,you can try it,too.——Even though it usually takes us a long time to adapt to something,you will fall in love with it at last.Don’t always hold your prejudice before you do it.
