The Catcher in the Rye is a novel written by J. D. Salinger. The book follows the experience of Holden Caulfield, the main character, at school and in New York. Holden Caulfield has become the symbolism of teenage rebellion. It is a classic book. It also shows us how people were affected after World War II and teaches the young readers to listen to their inner self.
It is true that J. D. Salinger allows the protagonist, Holden Caulfield, to use street language and colloquialisms while narrating his story in the book, and the book is frequently subject to censorship efforts in public schools. However, The Catcher in the Rye was one of the modern classic novels in more than 30 years. It has made a great impression in the literary world and among people from the period after World War II to present. Since the book just published, it has made a splash and found an echo in the communities, and it became more and more common in high schools and colleges. Also, in this book, the author creates a new writing style, which is the narrator telling a story in the first person point of view.
In my opinion, I strongly recommend this book! Because it is really a good book and teaches us something as long as we take it in the correct way.

A story that almost every of us will go through ourselves.
It evokes a sense of teeage alienation, deep in the soul, sounds like rebellion, but i contend that it's more like an insight and quest into our true egos than simply antangonism.
