　　As to Sense,I guess it means a respect for order,logic and rational control.
　　As to Sensibility,however,I think it means not only emotional sensitivity but also self-awareness.
　　
　　In Austen's times,there rose a group of so-called sentimentalists who prided themselves on being more delicate or on being able to respond instinctively to affecting situations,whom Austem made a great deal of parody in this book.
　　
　　Also,Austen shows that by simply following on personal feelings is not good choice,as Marianne's experience has sugested; and judging from the first impression or mere appearance would lead you wrong,as in the examples of Edward and Mrs Jemmings.
　　
　　Again,Austen revealed that in that period virtues alone of the Dashhood sisters are not guarantee for their forture.
