　　　　很早的片子，但最近才才买来ＤＶＤ看．一个是＜Ｃon Air＞中干练帅气的探员，一个是在＜Underworld＞里酷得不行的性感吸血鬼,是我喜欢的组合．其实这部影片的很多桥段都可以在<Sleepless in seattle>,<You've got a mali>等同类型的爱情片中寻得,<向左走，向右走>中也有类似擦间而过的缘分。尽管拍得很媚俗，但也能带来充分的愉悦感．谁不喜欢浪漫温馨的故事呢？即使编剧很刻意的制造浪漫．
　　　　爱情的部分不需多言，印象最深刻的台词是死党为男主角写的“悼言”，实则为本片主题的精髓所在。中文字幕翻译得恰到好处：
　　
　　Dean: Jonathan Trager, prominent television producer for ESPN, died last night from complications of losing his soul mate and his fiance. He was thirty-five years old. Soft-spoken and obsessive, Trager never looked the part of a hopeless romantic. But in the final days of his life, he revealed an unknown side of his psyche. This hidden quasi-Jungian persona surfaced during the Agatha Christie-like pursuit for his long, reputed soul mate; a woman whom he only spent a few precious hours with. Ultimately, Jonathan concluded that if we are to live life in harmony with the universe we must all possess a powerful faith, of what the ancients used to call fatum; what we currently refer to as destiny.
