　　 刚看完Casablanca。
　　 Rick在巴黎遇到Ilsa的时候，并不知道她已经是Victor的妻子；Rick在Casablanca遇到Ilsa的时候，也并不知道自己一直在Ilsa的心里，从未离开。在Casa，他遇到的已经不是他认识的Ilsa，而是Mrs.Laszlo，他恨她，他悲伤，他反复告诉自己一定不要原谅那个女人，却在Ilsa出现的当晚，在咖啡馆打烊之后，等待Ilsa的到来。"I'm waiting for a lady...She's coming back.I know she's coming back."明明恨她，又为什么盼望她回来？人就是这样。你惟一无法逃避的就是你自己，真实的自己。当我们疑问为什么Rick会有这样的举动，其实我们已经在心理确信，换做是自己，一样也要在那里等候Ilsa的到来。Rick并不真的恨她。
　　 "Of all the gin joints in all the towns in all the world, she walks into mine."也许他真的从未想过在Casa遇到Ilsa，他躲在北非的角落，逃避自己，却逃不出命运的安排。许多年，他不允许Sam弹奏As Time Gose By，但现在他已无法隐瞒，"You know what I want to hear..."于是Sam在那个晚上第二次弹奏几年前在巴黎时经常弹奏的曲子，时间也随之回到过去。
　　 Ilsa没有骗过Rick，她一直爱着Rick，但当Victor死而复生的时候，她不是Ilsa，而是Mrs.Laszlo，Victor需要她，亦即革命需要她。所以她只能抛弃Rick而回到Victor的世界里。"With the whole world crumbling, we pick this time to fall in love."彼此深爱的两个人就这样没有结束地结束，罪过不在于Victor，而在那场战争。
　　 以后的几年彼此都没有太多故事，因为失去彼此，什么都谈不上故事。直到Ilsa来到Casa，来到Rick的咖啡馆，再次闯入Rick的世界。Victor需要一张通行证，而Rick是惟一可以帮助他的人。但Rick不会原谅Ilsa，因为他并不知道几年前Ilsa离去的真相。而再他知道以后，他决定成全Victor和Ilsa。我想如果换做是我，我会选择让Victor一个人走，把Ilsa留在自己身边。我才不会考虑Ilsa对Victor有什么重大意义，或者她能帮助鼓励Victor的革命事业，去他妈的法兰西，去他妈的世界反法西斯战争，事实很明显，Rick和Ilsa彼此相爱，那就应该在一起。至于世界，自然会有人去拯救世界，或者，爱怎样怎样吧。Who cares?
　　 但电影里，Rick选择了世界，选择了大爱，而非自己的小爱。不能和爱人在一起，这种痛苦他已经承受了很多年，不同之处在于上一次他是被抛弃，而这一次是他自己选择放弃已经到手的爱人，更加痛苦。即使Ilsa选择了要和Rick留在Casa，他依然坚持让Ilsa和Victor一起走。与其说他向Ilsa解释自己的决定，不如说他在往自己胸口戳刀子。看到这里，还有谁能忍住自己的泪如雨下。两个人也许无缘再见，但他们之间的爱不会结束，as time gose by.

　　-- I don't understand. What about you?
　　-- I'm staying here with him till the plane gets safely away.
　　-- No, Richard, no. What has happened to you? Last night we said...
　　-- ...Last night we said a great many things. You said I was to do the thing for both of us. Well, I've done a lot of it since then and it all adds up tp one thing. You're getting on the plane with Victor where you belong.
　　-- But Richard, no, I, I...
　　--...You've got to listen to me. Do you have any idea what you'd have to look forward to if you stayed here? Nine chances out of ten we'd both wind up in a concentration camp. Isn't that true, Louis?
　　-- You're saying this only to make me go.
　　-- I'm saying it because it's true. Inside of us we both know you belong with Victor. You're part of his work, the thing that keeps him going. If that plane leaves the ground and you're not with him, you'll regret it.
　　-- No.
　　-- Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but soon, and for the rest of your life.
　　-- But what about us?
　　-- We'll always have Paris. We didn't have, we'd lost it until you came to Casablanca. We got it back last night.
　　-- And I said I would never leave you.
　　-- And you never will. But I have got a job to do, too. Where I'm going you can't follow. What I've got to do you can't be any part of. Ilsa, I'm no good at being noble, but it doesn't take much to see that the problems of three little people don't amount to a hill of beans in this crazy world. Someday you'll understand that.
