其实除了这段话,男主人公的一些对白也非常优美,多了一份含蓄和激情(矛盾?):1、当两人刚刚倾心，即面对死亡威胁，女主角问他没有水该怎么办时，他的回答是：
There's also a plant.I've never seen it,but I blieve you can cut a piece the size of a heart from this plant,and the next morning it'll be filled with a delicious liquid.
其实这是段隐喻，表明自己爱的决心。真佩服他在那么慌乱的境地还能如此沉静的思考感情：D
2、最后一部分在山洞，面临垂死的爱人，他说了一句裂人心肺的表白，算是回应上一段隐喻。
Every night,I cut out my heart,but in the morning,it was full again.
不知道，此时的女主角听到表白后，是否对于早先针对那句隐喻的回答感到后悔？当初她的回答是：
“Find that plant,cut out it's heart."
