在2003年末抵达成都之后，DJ Joe便迅速地把目光转向了这里刚起步的夜生活市场。他积极地筹划、宣传活动，并且在一系列的派对中打碟，其中包括了与他的MC兼器乐师李带果一起同台演出的《电子沙发》（Electronic Lounge），这个活动每月举行一次，从2004年一直延续至今；在2005年，Joe举办了成都第一个dnb派对《贝斯撞脸》（Bass in Your Face）；同年于省体育馆上演了电子锐舞派对在成都的处女秀；当然，还有从2006年至今大受欢迎的拉丁派对系列。
　　你或许已经在某个夜店目睹过DJ Joe的风采，他在成都逾20个场所都有过精彩演出，包括在红色年代俱乐部中和王磊的合作。他凭借dub, dubstep,和jungle/dnb的精湛技巧，让蓉城的夜晚，更加疯狂。
　　除了在成都活动以外，DJ Joe还把他的音乐与激情带到广州、昆明、大理等其他城市。在2005年，他和DJ Mael在昆明举行了Fast Forward。作为活动组织者，DJ Joe致力于在成都筑起国际舞台，在他的推动下，Stereo Total和BBC Sound System共同主办的2006年法国音乐节吸引了两千观众。2007年5月份，他请来了世界DMC得奖者DJ Netik和中国DMC得奖者DJ Wordy进行四个转盘比拼。与此同时，Joe还是CHENGDOO citylife（成都生活）杂志的经理，该杂志是成都第一本由外国人创办的英语刊物。2009年1月份，Joe首开先河，在成都举行了男女混合的多房间 DJ派对《彩色联合》（United Colours of Music）。

　　After arriving in Chengdu in late 2003, DJ Joe quickly turned his eye to establishing the city’s infantile nightlife scene. Organizing, promoting, and playing at a number of party series, including the monthly ongoing Electronic Lounge (2004 to present) with MC and instrumentalist Li Daiguo; Chengdu’s first drum n bass party, Bass in Your Face (2005); Chengdu’s first rave at the Chengdu Provincial Gymnasium (2005); and the popular Latin Party Series (2006 to present). In total, he has brought his repertoire of dub, dubstep, and jungle/dnb to over 20 venues in Chengdu, including the Age of Red Club where he played alongside Wang Lei.
　　　　
　　In addition to events in Chengdu, DJ Joe occasionally ventures out to gigs in other cities, including Guangzhou, Kunming, and Dali, and organized 2005’s Fast Forward with DJ Mael in Kunming. As an organizer, DJ Joe worked to bring international acts to Chengdu, such as Stereo Total and BBC Sound System at March 2006’s Francophone Music Festival which drew a crowd of 2,000 and world DMC DJ Netik and China DMC DJ Wordy in the May 2007 four-deck DJ battle. At the same time he launched CHENGDOO citylife Magazine, Chengdu’s first English-language magazine created by foreigners. In January 2009, he initiated the multiple-room, cross-genre DJ party United Colours of Music party series, the only one of its kind in Chengdu.
