2011年ipad2发布会观感

昨天花了一个小时的时间把ipad2的发布会看了一遍，整个过程当中震撼到我的并不是ipad2的发布，而是最后乔布斯说的话：
This is worth repeating. It’s in Apple’s DNA that technology is not enough. It’s tech married with the liberal arts and the humanities. Nowhere is that more true than in the post-PC products. Our competitors are looking at this like it’s the next PC market. That is not the right approach to this. These are pos-PC devices that need to be easier to use than a PC, more intuitive.
The hardware and software need to intertwine more than they do on a PC. We think we’re on the right path with this.”
在抛出了2011为ipad2年之后，帮主说出了更加具体显示苹果未来发展道路的结论，这让我想起1997年的WWDC，在那次发布会的结尾，帮主说：
And I think the people that do buy them do think differently and they are the creative spirits in this world. They are the people that are not just out to get a job done, they are out to change the world. And they’re out to change the world using whatever great tools they can get. And we make tools for those kinds of people. So hopefully what you’ve seen here today are some beginning steps that give you some confidence that we, too, are going to think differently, and serve the people that have been buying our products since the beginning.
Because a lot of times people think that they’re crazy. But in that craziness, we see genius, and those are the people we’re making tools for.
97年帮主的最后一句话为未来苹果的发展制定了发展的基调，即在创意领域发力并制造拥有创造力内涵的产品。
而2011年帮主的言论，我将此理解为苹果公司未来的发展目标，也许是在帮主离开苹果之后的目标。
在记忆中，乔布斯并没有把ipad当作一种平板电脑进行介绍，他说的更多的是智能化终端──拥有更易用性的产品。对于终端进行一番咬文嚼字，终端即为终点一端，在这种终点和中心的模型当中，现实中的终点毫无疑问是用户，用户在终点接收的是来自中心的信息，而中心在苹果现有模式中可以是itunes、app store等内容集中发布商店，也可以是第三方的软件内容提供厂商，在这个模型当中，终端的作用是呈现内容，以一种更加人性化和易用的方式呈现内容，过去的这么几年中苹果成功的做到了这一点。
乔布斯的话作为一个普通消费者来说是很适用的，通过简化对ipad本身的操作，尽可能快和高质量的获得内容和信息，这是一种获取成本的问题，在使用PC的过程中需要花费学习工具的成本，成本的高低决定了工具的流行程度和可接收程度。
但是有一个有趣的地方，若2011年进入一个后PC时代，现有的苹果笔记本该如何演化？
在发布了ipad、iphone这几项终端之后，很长的时间苹果仅仅对Macbook Air的外观进行了升级，此系列的便携程度实际上是给了希望进行本地计算的人们一个选择，但是更高端的机器的外观在很长的时间内并没有发生变化，我将这解读为苹果的开发资源的逐渐稀释造成的。
在提到后PC时代之后，一个实际的问题就是人们究竟需要多少资源进行本地计算，在由高速网络覆盖的未来生活中，人们可以将更多的内容放在云端进行统一计算，PC作为本地计算资源的使用价值被弱化，或者说是被专业化，发展到并不是所有人都会需要PC。
如果是这样，PC或者是Mac会逐渐成为一种专业化的工具，被放在智能终端的位置之后。
若是这样，你是否接受这种方式？老实说，有点让我想起《1984》。
