Elton Motello的主唱Alan Ward早年被MC5这等nyc朋克乐影响至深 1978年写出的金曲<喷气少年喷气妞(jet boy, jet girl)>被"闪光唱片(Lightning Records)"相中 此曲歌咏的是 一位15岁的豆蔻少年 跟gay男友苟且口活儿之事 歌曲虽然朗朗上口 但其中描述的出位情节 和强烈的性倒错倾向 令听众感到激突!
当公司决定发行该曲的法语版本时 词作家Lacomblez将歌中尖锐的词句去掉了 于是就造就了温和欢快的<Ca Plane Pour Moi> 尽管Alan Ward早年在比利时混过 但是法语稀松 于是就由乐队鼓手Roger Jouret捉刀 没想到单曲一炮而红 公司见这鼓手人气更旺 干脆就只包装他一人了 猜猜Roger后来的艺名是什么?--塑料伯兰特(Plastic Bertrand)
Elton Motello后来跟着大拨儿哄 转型新浪潮 2年后又发了一张片 接着欧洲disco的时代雷霆降临 乐队就销声匿迹了 Alan Ward自己退居幕后 当起了塑料伯兰特的制作人 而今我们也只能从这些古老的视频资料上 怀想短命的Elton Motello 还有这些喷气少年们上窜下跳的妖冶表演
