内容提要

当代中国性别政治，是以“女性气质”的偿还为起点的。基于对女人的“人道”亏欠，“女性意识”与“人道主义”结盟，成为反思集权文化的火力点。当人道主义的脆弱性在严酷政治现实面前无能为力之际，当代性别政治的身体转向成为20世纪政治文化的别样景观，女人撤返回自身，辨识身体、性/性别的权力机制，一旦自由被体验为“身体尖叫”的时候，人们才开始检视生命的“权利清单”，于是，“这个”自由女人与“这个”自由国家呼之欲出……

Summary

Gender politics in contemporary China started with the compensation of “femininity”. Based on the absence of humanity for females, the alliance of feminine consciousness and humanism evolves into the firing point for the introspection of totalitarian culture. When the frangibility of humanism is rendered powerless by the grim political reality, the body-turn of the contemporary gender politics comes to be a alternative landscape in the twenty-century political culture, females return to themselves, identifying the power mechanism of body, sex, and gender. Once freedom is experienced as a “body scream”, people start to examine the list of rights in life. Therefore, “this” liberated female and “this” liberated state are coming…

关于张念

1970年生，哲学博士，批评家，学者，现供职于同济大学文化批评研究所。主要从事女性主义思想与文化政治研究，从2000年起，在国内思想文化刊物发表女性主义研究及批评文章近百篇，曾在、在《南方都市报》《经济观察报》《广州日报》开设相关专栏，著有《不咬人的女权主义》，《持不同性见者》。

About Zhang Nian

Zhang Nian, Ph. D. Born in 1970,She is a critic, a scholar, and currently holds a position in the Institute of Cultural Criticism at Tongji University. She specializes in the Studies of Feminism and Cultural Politics. Since 2000, Zhang Nian has published nearly a hundred studies and criticisms on Feminism on several domestic journals of ideology and culture. Worked as a columnist for Southern Metropolitan Daily, Economic Observer, and Guangzhou Daily, Zhang Nian is also the author of Toothless Feminism, and Dissidents About Sex.

Grass Stage Culture Station: Social Theatre Forum

“The Stage is a small world, and the world is a large stage”- Since daily life has become theatrical, there is no escaping a universal involvement in social theater. Each month the “Social Theatre” forum series will invite scholars and critics in the fields of culture and art to illuminate the stage on which we all dwell. To date, we have invited Christopher Connery, Zhang Xian, Gu Zheng, Rachel Freeman, Wang Xiaoming, Zhang Xianming, 2wheels4change group and Sun Licui, and others to participate in the Grass Stage Culture Outpost as speakers and honored guests. It is our wish to engage various scholars’ work and thought in order to foster discussion on topics in culture, art, and public life. Dedicated to the exploration of the relationship between culture, art and society, spreading knowledge, and interdisciplinary communication.

文化站简介

“文化站”是由草台班自2007年底开始组织的小规模文化聚会，希望有助于探讨文艺与社会的联系，传播知识，促进跨界交流。共举办超过40次。不定期舉举行，免费参加。活动以专家座谈、专题介绍，讨论及小规模表演等方式展开。“文化站”立足草台班主旨，欢迎关注社会文化，希望开放自己思维和观念，愿意探讨问题和表达意见的人士参与。

Culture Outpost Manifesto

Dedicated to the exploration of the relationship between culture, art and society, spreading knowledge, and interdisciplinary communication, the “Culture Outpost” is a small scale salon that Grass Stage has held since 2007. We have organized over 30 events, which have included lectures and lively discussion, and which have been and will continue to be free of charge. These events have featured expert panels, presentations, discussions and small scale performances. Based on the goals of the Grass Stage group, the “Culture Outpost” welcomes those who are concerned about society and culture, those with a wish to open their minds, and those willing to take an active part in discussions and to express their own ideas.
