求助英语达人们,胖堂啦,气球啦,还有广大的豆芽们~~~
9号我要参加个重要婚礼,帮混血新娘子做翻译....

可惜要翻的都是些中国婚礼民俗,不能直译,我就自己硬着头皮翻译了一下大意,有些自知很搞笑,但是米办法啊....

见下,请各位帮忙看看,修改或者批判都行~~~!

拜天地—— 一拜天地 二拜高堂(求助ing)

新娘子跨火盆——象征着日子红红火火
Bride stride over the fire-pan is to symbolize the future life will be brisk and prosper like the burning fire.

马鞍桥上放苹果——新娘子跨过用脚踢掉，象征着一生平平安安。
put an apple on a saddle——the bride stride over the saddle and kick away the apple——this symbolize living peaceful and serene. ( apple in Chinese”苹果”is the a partial tone of “平安”)

新郎射箭——打开幸福之门，对邪恶的震慑力！就是有点像反恐。
The groom speed an arrow from the bow----open the door of joy and happiness,and to threaten the devils。somewhat similar to anti-terrorism.It’s a jork

红盖头——新娘表示新娘子高贵的矜持含蓄的，新郎要主动，这是对女人的尊重！
covered by a red head-scarf,the bride looked very shy and restrained,she is waiting the groom uncover the scarf on his own initiative ,which to show his adoration and respect.

打大锣开道——也是规格高的意思，古代只有官员和新娘子有这个礼遇。
Knock the big gong to clear the way is also the highest level of wedding ceremony.
In ancient times,only official’s bride can be treated with such reception.

红色―――中国人的浪漫 红盖头 红绸子 红双喜 红鸡蛋
In china ,red is the most romantic color.
for example，the bride’s red head-scarf，red silk fabric，red Double Happiness，red eggs

连心锁——象征着永远也不分开。
a two-heart lock——symbolize the new couple can’t be separated and they are locked together for ever.

红丝带――传说月亮上有个老人，专管人间男女婚姻，月老是用一根红线将恋人牵到一起。
red riband——in an ancient tale ,an old man lives on the moon,who takes charge of the marriage of young boys and girls.
He directed the young couple together with a red riband.

交杯酒———分三次喝完(救助ing)



桌子上放着一个盛粮食的斗－－
put foodstuff and some other things into a container with a wider mouth and a narrow lower side.
these stuff are all the patial tone of the meanings to extend good wishes.

斗里的粮食：象征 五谷丰登 丰收
the foodstuff symbolize a plentiful harvest.

玉米：金玉满堂
the corn symbolize having more family property and living a more prosperous life.

斗里的镜子：平静
the mirror symbolize the quiet and peacefull live.

斗里的秤：称心如意，用秤打开盖头也是此意
the groom uncover the red head-scarf with a balance,which symbolize well-content and everything is going well as you wishes.

一对龙凤红蜡烛：代表一对新人红火的日子
the candle carved by a pair of dargon and phoenix imply the new couple’s bright future live just like the burning candlelight.

桌子上放：栆 花生 贵元 莲子 ——寓意moral 早生贵子，
栆：Chinese date----“早”---- as soon as possible
花生：peanut---“生”--“有儿有女”---not only have sons but also many daughters
桂圆： longan---“贵”--lovely and distinguished
莲子：lotus flower seed---“连连得子”---have babies

中国人的婚礼就是追求喜庆
Chinese wedding ceremony hanker for the festive merry feelings.

长辈，亲友、祝福、美好企盼
Eldership,relatives and friends all extend the nice hope and warm wishes to the new couple.
