	Shakespeare was born in 1564, married at eighteen, left Stratford at 21, perhaps because of a charge of poaching, reached London at the age of 22, and wrote Henry VI, Part One, at the age of 27 or 28. His first poems come out when he is 29, and his sonnets are written from the ages of 29 to 32. At 33, he’s made enough money – out of the theater, not the plays, until Henry IV – to buy a house in Stratford. From the ages of 35 to 37 he writes his most important comedies, from 36 to 40 his unpleasant plays, from 40 to 44 the great tragedies, and from 44 to 47 the romantic comedies. At 46 he appears to have retired to Stratford. At 47 he wrote The Tempest.
