Polyvore is a fun site that mixes up 'fashion' 'collage' and 'hands-on experience.'

这个看似平常的服饰搭配网站，搜罗了200万件来自各大网上商店的当季流行单品. 用户可以利用Polyvore站内的服饰项目，也可以上载网站以外的服饰品图片（透过一个浏览器件插件，示范），然后按自己的趣好，把服装饰品图片自行组合，成为一个Set，拼砌出体达自我品味的服饰配搭。你并可以为你的Set加上色调Tag（标籤）和文字Tag，供网友搜寻、评分、分享、留言、嵌入网页。有集成智慧元素和交友元素！

而Polyvore的魅力不仅仅在于吸引女孩子的服装,更重要的是它的拼贴(collage)功能能够引发无穷的创造力!

里面的所有物件都是独立的，看了觉得好也可以用对方的组合为基础进行增删，成为你自己的！而且Polyvore聪明的地方就是，用户自己的设计当然购买衝动会较强，而且一整套组合放出来更大大增强了购买欲，其他用户看了也可能会上钓。用户喜欢的话，可以直接按右边个别服饰组件的来源购买。当然收入 Polyvore也有份。

界面简单却悦目！据TechCrunch讲是前Yahoo人Pasha Sadri创建的网站，难怪有此创意功力，因为Yahoo Pipes就是他的作品！

　　1.收集搭配：
　　那个网站里有很多网友的服装搭配创意（set)。
　　你可以先浏览别人的搭配，看到好看的搭配(set),可以点右边的”i like this set". 如果已经有人喜欢这套搭配了，你只需点"me too"就可以了，旁边有个小红心的，很好理解。还可以给每个搭配发表评论，但是需要注册的。
　　
　　2.收集单品：
　　可贵的是，这个网站里每套搭配所用到的单品(item)都匀有列明出处（即从哪个网站或网店来的，topshop, asos等），并且每一件item都可以单独浏览。只需点击单品在弹出的框中选“more sets with this item"便可查看与这单品有关的其他搭配（非常实用！！）。然后进入某单品的页面时，也可以点击右侧的"save to my item"来收藏它。
　　
　　3.创建自己的搭配：
　　当item收集到一定的数量，相信每个女孩都开始摩拳擦掌啦。搭配你自己的set就要开始了。
　　点击上面导航栏中最醒目的红字”create a set".页面打开后，只需将右侧你所收集的单品，按你的想法拖到屏幕中就可以了！。搭配完毕点击左侧“Publish.."即可。
　　
　　4.制作你自己的Item：
　　在导航栏“my profile"下的“Items”块下面有个”Install the Polyvore Clipper",里面有更详细地介绍如何使用他们的软件制作自己的item。

♥How do I create a set?

The Polyvore editor lets you create sets using items that have been imported into Polyvore by you or other users. Think of it as a very simple collage editor.

♥How do I add items to Polyvore?

You can import items from other websites using the clipper tool. Please make sure to respect copyrights when clipping items.

♥How to save your polyvore sets to your computer?
You can send your set as an ecard by going to the set and clicking that option on the right side under "embed set". Send the ecard to your own email adress, Open the email, right click the set, and chose "save as picture."

♥How do you get more people to view your outfits on Polyvore?
1.add MORE stuff for people to actually comment on.
2.start commenting on other peoples stuff. if they see you left a comment on theirs, they are more likely to leave you a comment
3.Add MORE items.
4.Join MORE group and broadcast your sets

♥How do you get your inspiration for outfits?
As for the main question, mainly it's just based on my own clothing taste, I browse online shops, see what I like, import it into polyvore and then just try out what will go together.
You can also get new ideas by looking at sets that other people did, especially with your 'own' items (ie. the ones you have imported) to see how they combined them which can be completely different and can make you think about new ways to combine your items.
Also while browsing other peoples stuff you can occasionally find beautiful items that just inspire you to use them in an outfit, not only clothing but background pictures with a nice colour scheme that can spark ideas about colour combination in your next outfit.
