引言：他决意要建一座流动的城，城里有小餐馆、客栈、咖啡馆、画廊、地下影院、教堂、若干处废弃屋宅，一应俱全；他厌倦了可以选举市长的民主制度，他要为自己建的城选择市民；他说他要保留一些，还要创造一些，为了人，而不是国家，所以城是没有疆界与偏见的；他在战争中丢失了自己的城市，因此他要在自己的新城里杜绝战争。

1980年代，欧洲电影界出现了一位以反传统电影风格著称世界的导演，相对于欧洲传统电影阵营，他画地为圈，自成一格，并迅速占有了一席之地。他就是来自前南斯拉夫的埃米尔·库斯图里卡（Emir Kusturica）。他的电影语言与艺术电影以平缓节奏见长的传统背道而驰，却赢得了三大A级电影节的青睐，最重要的是，在全世界引发了广泛的思考。人们给他的评价毁誉参半。

In the 1980s, a world renowned director who is famous for anti-traditional film style emerged in the European film circle. Compared with the traditional European film circle, he had his own style and rapidly occupied a field in the circle. He is Emir Kusturica, who comes from former Yugoslavia. The language in his films goes against the tradition of art films which are characterized by smooth and peaceful rhythm. However, they won the favor of the top three A-grade film festivals. The most import part was that they triggered a world-wide pondering. People’s appraisement is half praise and half blame.
