	创建于2007-10-29 组长：lane Seth Benardete (1930-2001) - New York University; Professor of Classics, a student of Strauss on the Committee at Chicago, friends with Allan Bloom and Stanley Rosen. Taught at St. John's (Annapolis), with Jacob Klein, and at the New School, as well as NYU, where he taught the complete range of Greek and Latin poetry, history, and philosophy. Renowned translator of Greek texts, including many Platonic dialogues, such as the recently published Symposium and the trilogy, Theaetetus, Sophist, and Statesman. Author of Herodotean Inquiries, Socrates' Second Sailing (an interpretation of the Republic), and books on the Gorgias and Phaedrus, the Philebus, the Laws, and the Odyssey.
