由世博会挪威参展和挪威王国驻上海总领事馆，挪威王国驻华使馆和Rikskonsertene（挪威音乐会）支持，国际知名的挪威流行女歌手玛丽特·拉森将到中国巡演。9月29日到10月2日，拉森和她的乐队将到不同的城市不同的场地演出。其中的亮点是9月30日周四晚在上海Mao Live的演出。
玛丽特·拉森最早凭中国歌迷熟悉的流行组合M2M一炮而红，多首歌曲被改成国语版。单飞后的拉森发表了两张专辑备受好评，巩固了她作为独立歌手的地位。 2009年挪威最大的报纸之一的VG将她的一首“表面之下”的歌曲评为十年最佳歌曲，她的另一首“如果一首歌能把你给我”也排在了第四位。该报把她的首张个人专辑《表面之下》评为十年最佳专辑第二位。

Norwegian Pop Singer MARIT LARSEN to Tour China in September-October
With the support of Norway at Expo, the Royal Norwegian Consulate General in Shanghai, the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Beijing and Rikskonsertene (Concerts Norway), YGTwo Productions is proud to announce that internationally-renowned recording artist Marit Larsen will perform a limited number of concerts in China. Between Sept 29 and Oct 2, Larsen and her band will perform in a variety of cities and settings around the country. The highlight of this short tour will surely be the band’s performance at MAO LIVEHOUSE in Shanghai, one of the newest and best live music venues in the country, on THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 30.
Marit Larsen first shot to fame as half of the pop sensation M2M, who, Chinese fans are already well aware, recorded Mandarin versions of several of their many hit songs. Marit Larsen’s post-M2M career has brought her wide praise for two albums that have solidified her status as a recording artist in her own right. In 2009, one of Norway’s largest newspapers, VG, called Marit’s song “Under the Surface” the best song of the decade; fourth place on the same list was another Larsen tune: “If a Song Could Get Me You”. The newspaper called her debut album Under the Surface the second-best album of the decade.
Shanghai audiences’ chance to see Marit in a relatively intimate environment comes on Thursday September 30 at the venerable MAO LIVEHOUSE. Tickets are RMB120 at the door of RMB100 in advance.
Marit also performs at Europe Square, Shanghai Expo on Wed Sept 29 and Chang Jiang Midi Festival on Fri Oct 1. Other performances are TBA.
