11月10日，瑞士最佳流行摇滚乐队Dada ante Portas将携其最新专辑《The theory of everything》强力登陆09年中国巡演城市广州。成军于1997年，5张录音室专辑无数次攻占音乐排行榜前五名，在整个欧洲特别是瑞士，德国以及奥地利具有极高人气的Dada ante portas乐队将用他们充满活力与热情的歌曲在深圳一渡堂继续中国巡演的首段征程。
乐队简介
Dada ante Portas乐队于12年前开始了他们的摇滚旅程。在乐队成立之初 的3年里,他们主要在乐队的家乡瑞士卢塞恩进行演出,成为了当地最具 代表性的一支乐队。不仅如此,在1999年和2000年乐队都以傲人成绩战胜 超过600支乐队获得瑞士最佳新晋乐队奖。
在乐队发行了他们第一张专辑《Playin' Hooky》后他们迅速拥有了数量 庞大的歌迷。尽管电台总是忽略那些流行摇滚风格的歌曲,但是乐队的三 个音乐MV(《Let yourself go》,《Dance beside the moon》,《Hazy

Intro
Lucerne's got just one bank HQ and that's for the Kantonalbank. The only chemicals you'll find are in the pharmacy. And ever since Napoleon named Lucerne the capital of Switzerland, much water has flowed under the bridge. In other words, Lucerne has not got a lot going for it — compared, say, to Zurich, Basel or Bern. Yes, it is a nice part of the world here, but otherwise? Well, otherwise, over the past few years, Lucerne has blossomed into Switzerland's top address for rock music (except mundart rock aka dialect rock). At least, that is what the various branches of the media have been saying. Provincial rock apparently having more street-cred than metropolitan rock. And that, of course, only goes to increase the pressure of expectation on the biggest band on that much-praised scene.
Refrain DADA ANTE PORTAS are now releasing their fifth studio album. OK, OK, all bands happen to think that their latest album is the best-ever. Yet that has never been so true as with THE THEORY OF EVERYTHING. The lads from Lucerne really did bring all their experience and all their ability to bear before wiping the slate clean and starting all over again. And then, as if like new-born, they spat out their fabulous songs on to tape. Which is just what the album sounds like: savvy, fresh, upbeat. An album that sounds like a debut — and not just because the line-up has changed.
Verse 1
For about ten years now, DADA ANTE PORTAS have been going their own way, unperturbed. Or almost unperturbed. During and after production of the previous album Superbixen, the band members were having huge rows but somehow managed to pull themselves together for the tour. "If we ultimately hadn't been good mates, we'd have been at one at one another's throats", Luc recalls. "Yes", says Pee, "Without that basic friendship, we'd have ended up hating one another and split up on the classic grounds of 'artistic differences". Thommy adds: "it was all that classic ego-crap. Each of us was always in the right". Whatever. At the end of the Superbixen tour, bass player Mitch Prest quit. He'd had enough. "It wasn't easy", Lukas continues, "but jacking it in was never on my agenda. Grooving with my own band, that's all I've ever wanted to do". And so, following night-long discussions in low-down bars, not to mention a log cabin in the Bündner mountains, it eventually transpired that Pee Wirz, Thommy Lauper, Luc Le Bo and Lukas Schaller had not yet had enough of one another, nor of rock'n'roll, nor of the search for big melodies. "With Mitch quitting like that, some decrepit structures went as well and we were able to tackle our fifth studio album with all the enthusiasm of scene newcomers", says Lukas who took the bass part for the interim. By rehearsing for days on end and jamming for nights on end in their own studio, the band laid down countless song ideas, discarded some and tightened up others.

To supervise the recording sessions, DADA ANTE PORTAS finally chose the Hanover-based Italian producer Fabio Trentini (Donots, Sasha, Guano Apes). But also because the all-out Beatles and Police fan plays a mean bass and Lukas was itching to get back to guitar. "When Fabio came to our studio and I could play guitar again and he could take the bass part, the joint, well, really rocked", he says. One thing is clear: DADA ANTE PORTAS are aiming on stage to give it more gas but without sacrificing melody, nuance and ballad. "Live, it's simply cooler to let it rock", says singer Pee " and that, at the end of the day, is what has always been our greatest strength: to storm the stage and let it really rock". A strength, please note, that DADA ANTE PORTAS have never before quite captured on tape as with the ease of THE THEORY OF EVERYTHING.
Under Fabio's supervision, then, the boys from Lucerne have recorded in Hanover a CD that highlights everything they do best. There is the venom of The Erratic Rage of the Prey and Be Ashamed. There is the sumptuousness of Another Promise and Leave for Good. The wonderful guitar riffs on Tick Tock Attack duel with the folk-picking of Mexico and the pop stomp of Bloom. In Taking Your Love, there's even a Police snatch. Which at first caused the producer to belly-ache. "Do we really have to do that? All my pals will think I made you do it!" Well, let it be said loud and clear: Taking Your Love is one of the best rock songs of recent years.

Intermezzo In October 1997, DADA ANTE PORTAS played their first gig at the Zwischenbühne in Horw/Lucerne. After approx. 100 concerts, they released their debut album Playin Hooky (2001) which made 44th place in the Swiss charts. They then played 60 concerts in Switzerland and Germany before recording Bound for Nowhere (2002, 15th place), Seasons Change (2004, 3rd place) and Superbixen (2006, 4th place).
Verse 3 "That's why the new album is called The Theory of Everything ", says Pee, "it's a sort of formula for our own fantastic Dada world. At least for the moment, that is". Luc thinks the album is romantic: "Not in the usual sense of 'romantic love' – even if we do sing about it – but more in the sense of the Romantic era which was generally a time for strong emotions and bringing out the light side and dark side of human nature". And now the band's thoughts are turning to the upcoming live concerts. "Of course we'll be playing our best ballads", drummer Thommy promises, "but the main focus will be on rock'n'roll. And about time too!" Confirmed by Pee: "I'm really looking forward to some wild euphoric rock shows. So let me promise one thing: anyone who doesn't end up dancing ... never will".
