随着近年来中国艺术的蓬勃发展和大量文化场馆的兴建，如何更好地拓展观众，如何面对这个过程中的机遇与挑战成为很多艺术机构和从业者关心的话题。英国大使馆文化教育处特别邀请英国首屈一指的艺术中心南岸中心学习与参与创意总监Shân Maclennan女士来京，与北京同行进行一场关于观众拓展的面对面交流。届时，Maclennan女士将不仅为我们带来南岸中心拓展观众的成功经验，同时还将和特邀嘉宾曹诚渊先生和郭晓彦女士围绕此话题展开对话和讨论。

Shân Maclennan女士：英国南岸中心学习与参与创意总监

Shân Maclennan领导下的多专业团队致力于开发符合南岸中心艺术主旨的各类现场项目。她本人负责自由项目策划、档案和藏品管理以及教育和公众参与工作。Shân的职业生涯始于爱丁堡的一个艺术家合作社，她在合作社中负责为苏格兰各地的视觉艺术家和表演艺术家提供服务。随后，她开始管理北威尔士地区的雷克瑟姆图书馆与艺术中心（Wrexham Library Arts Centre），并成为负责本地区六个艺术中心的郡艺术官员（County Arts Officer）。此后，她前往汉普郡并先后担任艺术发展主任和设在南安普敦城市艺术馆的艺术教育普及团队主管。她曾担任南岸与岸边文化区（Southbank and Bankside Cultural Quarter）教育委员会主席。南岸与岸边文化区由泰晤士河南岸的20个非营利组织构成。Shân拥有布里斯托大学和爱丁堡大学的学位。

曹诚渊简介:
北京雷动天下现代舞团 ：舞团总监/艺术总监
广东现代舞团：总经理/艺术总监
香港城市当代舞团：艺术总监/行政总裁
曹诚渊先生对中国现代舞的发展有深远影响。
出生于香港，1973至1977年在美国读大学时开始学习现代舞；1979年获取香港大学工商管理硕士学位，同年创办香港城市当代舞蹈团；1986年被邀于北京舞蹈学院教授现代舞；1987年至1991年成为广东舞蹈学校现代舞实验班顾问及导师。曹先生对推动中国现代舞发展不遗余力，自1987年起在多个城市，包括北京、上海、武汉、昆明、福州、太原、大庆等地讲学。1992至1998年担任广东实验现代舞团艺术总指导；1999年被邀成为北京现代舞团艺术总监；2005年9月离开北京现代舞团，创建北京雷动天下现代舞团，并出任舞团总监兼艺术总监。
曹诚渊先生的编舞作品风格多端，曾多次获邀参加加拿大、韩国、日本、以色列、法国、德国及北京、上海、台北等地举行的大型艺术节。88年荣获香港艺术家联盟颁赠的“舞蹈家年奖”；90年获选为“香港十大杰出青年”；93年获英女皇颁发“荣誉奖章”；98年获“路易•卡地亚卓越成就奖—舞蹈设计家”；1999年7月获香港特区政府颁发“铜紫荆星章”，表扬他对香港文化发展的贡献；2000年7月获香港演艺学院颁授荣誉院士。曹先生现任香港课程发展议会艺术教育委员会委员、康乐及文化事务署舞蹈顾问、香港艺术发展局艺术范畴代表（舞蹈）及香港舞蹈联盟副主席。
主要编舞作品：《鸟之歌》、《昆仑》、《中国风•中国火》、《365种系定唔系东方主义》、《逍遥游》、《一桌N椅》、《三千宠爱》、《寻找大观园》、《兰陵王》等。
Willy Tsao has been instrumental to the development of the modern dance in China. Tsao was born and educated in Hong Kong and received his modern dance training in the U.S. from 1973 to 1977. In 1979 he graduated from the University of Hong Kong with an MBA degree, and established the Hong Kong City Contemporary Dance Company. He helped to set up the Guangdong Modern Dance Company, the first professional modern dance company in Mainland China, and was its Artistic Director from 1992 to 1998. He was invited to be the artistic director of the Beijing Modern Dance Company in 1999. In September 2005, he left the Beijing Modern Dance Company and set up the BeijingDance / LDTX. In addition to directing three dance companies, Tsao founded two annual international dance festivals in Beijing and Guangdong.

Tsao’s choreographic works vary in style and have been presented throughout the world. In July 1999, he was awarded the “Bronze Bauhinia Star” by the Hong Kong SAR government for his significant contribution to the development of local arts. Other honors and awards include the “Dancer of the Year” award from the Hong Kong Artists Guild (1988), the “Ten Outstanding Young Persons” (1990) “The Badge of Honor” from H.R.H. Queen Elizabeth II (1993) and the “Louis Cartier Award of Excellence-Outstanding Choreographer” (1998).

郭晓彦简介
尤伦斯当代艺术中心 首席策展人

1999年3月起，参与创建中国第一家民营美术馆-上河美术馆 （成都）；2002年3月-2007年9月任广东美术馆“广州三年展”办公室副主任，策展人；2007年9月起任尤伦斯当代艺术中心策展人；2008年3月起任尤伦斯当代艺术中心首席策展人。

郭晓彦一直致力于从事艺术策划、批评和管理。2003年-2004年策划、组织了广东美术馆系列当代艺术项目、研讨活动及馆藏作品专题展，如“大地上的图画-维姆•文德斯摄影展”，“未建成-矶崎新建筑艺术展”，“后规划时代的建筑-与矶崎新对话”学术研讨会等；策划和组织“第戎-上海-广州 ：严培明个展”等；2005年任“第二届广州三年展”联合策展人，组织“三角洲实验室计划（D-Lab ）”系列研讨活动；2006年-2007年策划组织“八五以来的现象与状态系列展”之“从极地到铁西区：东北当代艺术展” ,“刘小东个展-刘小东：写生”；任“余震（Aftershock）-英国当代艺术展（1990-2006）”联合策划；韩国首尔美术馆“亚洲城市网络双年展（中国部分）”策展人；2008年6月，联合策划（高士明、张颂仁）“吴山专（但仍然是红的），国际红色幽默……与英格-斯瓦拉•拖斯朵帝尔雷神女儿粉化服务”；2008年7月，联合策划（杰罗姆.桑斯、周丽影）“我们的未来——尤伦斯基金会收藏展”；2008年9月，第三届广州三年展研究员，策划“消失的现场”单元； 2009年2月，联合策划（杰罗姆.桑斯）“邱志杰：破冰-南京长江大桥计划之三”；2009年6月，联合策划（杰罗姆.桑斯）“严培明：童年的风景 ”等。


Guo Xiaoyan - Chief Curator/ Ullens Center for Contemporary Art

Guo Xiaoyan is a pioneer in the development of art institutions in China. From 2002-07, she held the position of Vice Director of the Guangzhou Triennial Office at the Guangdong Museum of Art. She is also one of the founders of China’s first non profit gallery in Chengdu, “Upriver”. In 2007, Guo Xiaoyan was selected as the Curator of the Ullens Center for Contemporary Art (UCCA), and from 2008, she has assumed the position as Chief Curator of UCCA.

As a diverse and experienced curator, Guo Xiaoyan has been involved in the curation of many group and solo shows. From 2003-04, she was curator and organized a series art projects, panel discussions, and museum collections. These include “Pictures on the Earth - Photograph by Wim Wenders”, “Unfinished-Architectures by ISOZAKI Arata”, and hosted the seminar “Architectures in Post-Plan Time-Dialogue with ISOZAKI Arata”. In 2005, Guo Xiaoyan curated “Dijon-Shanghai-Guangzhou: Solo Exhibition of Yan Pei-Ming” and in the same year, she co-curated the 2nd Guangzhou triennial, and co-organized “D-Lab” from Guangdong Museum of Art.

During 2006-07, she was curator of “From Polar Region to Tie Xi Qu: Contemporary Art Exhibition in Northeast China”; “Liu Xiaodong: Painting from Life (Solo Exhibition of Liu Xiaodong)”; and “Asian City Network” (China) at Seoul Museum of Art, South Korea. In addition, she was co-curator of “Aftershock-Contemporary British Art 1990-2006” initiated by the Guangdong Museum of Art and in 2008, and “Wu Shanzhuan, but Still Red, Red Humor International” with Gao Shiming and Johnson CHANG Tsong-zung in 2008. She was also Research Curator for the 3rd Guangzhou Triennial, curating the “nowincoming” unit.

Since her nomination as Chief Curator of UCCA in March 2008, Guo Xiaoyan has curated multiple exhibitions and projects of Chinese contemporary artists. In July 2008, together with Jerome Sans and Kate Fowle, she co-curated “Our Future: The Guy & Myriam Ullens Foundation Collection”. In 2009, she co-curated with Jerome Sans two major exhibitions “Qiu Zhijie: Breaking through the Ice” and “Yan Pei-Ming: Landscape of Childhood”.(收起)
