Poster Design Competition

United under the theme of “The Fabric of Imagination”, the TEDxGuangzhou team is here to present you with the very best idea festival in town. We are creating a poster design competition prior to the event. All of you are invited to join in this first ever design competition for a TEDx poster.
Have an itch to scratch? Here are the rules:
1. All designs must be original. Copycats are strictly forbidden.
2. Your design should reflect the diversity of our speakers - we have artists, architects, designers. entrepreneurs, historians, scientists, story tellers, writers and more–and should be an illustrative rendering of our theme, The Fabric of Imagination.
Vector art is favored so it can be scaled from Internet postings to poster size or A4 handouts.
3. Deadline for submission is November 9, 2009. After that, you will be invited to vote for your favorite design online.
4. All submissions shall be sent via email to this address: tedxguangzhou@gmail.com. Please write a short paragraph to explain your idea. Make sure you have the rights to use all the graphic elements in your design.
5. First and second place winners will receive $100 and $50 USD respectively and will be invited to attend our conference and share lunch and dinner with the guest speakers.
