2009年4月，英国摄影师韶华 (Sean Gallagher) 有幸获普利策中心“危机报道”基金赞助，以“蔓延的黄沙”为主题通过影像记录中国沙漠化现状以及治沙战略实施情况，此次拍摄经陆路穿越内蒙古，宁夏，甘肃，新疆4省，总行程约 4000公里。本次展览是韶华先生该摄影作品的首次公开亮相。

In April of 2009, British photojournalist Sean Gallagher was awarded a travel grant from the prestigious Pulitzer Center on Crisis Reporting to photograph ‘China’s Growing Sands’, a multi-layered investigation into China’s current battle against desertifcation.
