2009年五月，四个理想主义者，他们来自三个国家，说着五种语言，有着不同的宗教和文化背景，将一起开始他们的人生之旅：从拉萨骑摩托经过青藏高原、茶马古道、四川盆地、古都西安、内蒙古大沙漠、北京，最终到达亚洲经济中心上海。

他们将围着篝火讨论政治、宗教和理想，他们将用相机和记忆将旅行生活记录，他们将在中国大地留下他们最美好的青春。

On May 2009, four travelers from Tibet, Eastern China and overseas will set off on a journey across China, from the religious city of Lhasa to Shanghai, the commercial heart of Asia. We will travel by motorcycle for 60 days over 8000km and film a feature length documentary on two HD cameras.

We will take the road that Chairman Mao took in the Long March of 1934, and travel from the heart of the Himalayas through the deserts of Mongolia and into the highrises of modern China.

Motorbikes, Mao and a Yak will capture the personal growth of these four characters and their changes in attitude towards each other, Tibet, China, religion, business, and life on the road.
