电影工业特效天师-斯坦·温斯顿（Stan Winston）原名斯坦利·温斯顿：职业特效师、化妆师、导演、演员、编剧、电影制片人。1946年4月7日出生在美国弗吉尼亚州的艾灵顿，曾在弗吉尼亚州大学学习过戏剧、绘画和雕刻。1971年，斯坦-温斯顿工作室（SWS）成立，一个由斯坦领跑的电影特效时代就此开始。2008年6月15日晚，在加州Malibu的家中逝世，享年62岁。与其被称为“特效大师”，不如说斯坦·温斯顿是特效影史上最为杰出的“幕后的表演者”～
