　　Nujabes从一个唱片行的店员出身，凭著对音乐的热爱，98年开始从事DJ工作，之後成立Hydeout Production，2003年首张推出该厂牌混音合辑FIRST COLLECTION，太受好评。同年并推出奠定他在Jazzy Hip Hop界的重要专辑''Metaphorical Music''，在日本回响甚大。
　　作为日本Hip hop的代表之一，Nujabes享受了全球乐迷无可比拟的尊重与喜爱。Nujabes 原名叫Jun Seba。（Noo-Jah-Bess)他还是一个“部落”的拥有者，他在东京有一间自己的唱片销售店，并且经营着一家名叫 Hyde-Out Productions的独立音乐厂牌。
　　Nujabes的嘻哈音乐以浓厚的“冷爵士”而广为人知，他也有不少音乐采样是出自于爵士大师Miles Davis 和Yusef Lateef的，这也是为什么我们能从他的曲子中聆听到无比醇厚的爵士芳香的原因。
